Nicely written vignette. You give use a real feel for them in a short time. Personally, I don't see the need for the inclusion of degradation on the list. Also, to say she has no worth but for his pleasure, I get the point being made but don't care for it being made that way. Those two points diminish, for me, what is otherwise astrong relationship.

Nicely done

A most enjoyable little piece; thank you for letting us share it. Coffee wasn't all that widely drunk in the early thirties but Camp coffee would have been available just about everywhere for those with a taste for it - and of course, there were the Lyons Coffee Houses where people might well have developed such a taste.

Good work - I'd like to read more stories like this one.
