All Comments on 'Book 01: A Match Made Ch. 01'

There are things I really liked about this story - the relationship interplay, the affection between the two women, the interjected thoughts. At the same time, the perspective shifts were confusing and distracting. I spent time trying to figure our who's perspective I was reading rather than getting wrapped up in the story. Interesting characters and story; I'm looking forward to reading more.

I'm IN LOVE with these two. Their chemistry is captivating. Vixen, you're brilliant at dialogue and expressing Lissy's inner thoughts. You can feel their silliness, their love and oh god their sexiness. They are off the charts hot !!

Usually you make us suffer a little longer before we get to jump into bed, but not with Lissy and Kara. THANK YOU by the way. The balcony... OMG!!

So much happened in just the first chapter... I've buckled my seat belt and I'm ready to ride this next Vixen coaster!

The characters are fabulous. Lissy and Kara are so beautiful together. Their passion, their love, the sex, the fun, it's all so wonderfully written, though that's nothing new as you AVL are a brilliant author.

Lissy as a mom is really well done. I read her interaction with Rachel and I want a mom like her too.

I don't agree with the below comment, I didn't find anything confusing at all. The perspectives were all on par, imo.

At last the new story has arrived, I loved the first chapter, the characters and their interactions are wonderful and I can't wait to read more about them. I love this story! I was confused by the switches between referring to Kara as "she" or "you" but other than that it's fabulous.

Hey Vixen, I'm so glad you're back with a new story. And thanks for letting me know. The first chapter was great, I loved it. Great couples, plenty of romance and hot sex. We didn't get any interaction between June and Rachael, maybe next chapter. It looks like something is going to happen between Lissy and Bette, I hope not because Kara really loves Lissy. Thanks for the story.

I am so excited to see you back and with such a wonderful new first chapter. so much human emotion. I laughed out loud, several times, cried and sighed many times over. the touching interactions between Rachel and june with lissy and kara were very heartfelt. the sex was very hot and the pacifier hysterical. all of it was pure vixen at her best.

Oh My Gawd! It's been a long dry spell without a story from you but Wow! You rock this story. Being on the dark side of 50 myself, I really appreciate the age difference between the two main characters and the challenges they face. I absolutely love the interaction between Lissy and Rachel. Not all mother/daughter relationships have to be warfare. The lovemaking is sizzling hot but tender all at the same time. And all the interactions felt very honest and real. I finished this chapter with the feeling that I really knew these people. That I had some insight into in Lissy and Kara's lives. And that, I think, is the magic of a great writer.

What a treat! Being an older woman myself, it's nice to imagine a younger woman falling for someone with more - experience. Fantasy or not, I hope Lissy stays smart and doesn't cheat on Kara with her therapist. If I was lucky enough to find a woman 18yrs younger who was that crazy about me - well I would do whatever it took. Life doesn't serve you up such amazing things just to have you throw it away! It begs off how some get such high praise for much more than grade school aptitude and descriptions that give question if they get their experience from watching sub par porn. After reading chapter one I was excited and thrilled and more!!

So where to begin (rubbing my hands together)...

Mom and daughter -- mutual announcements. I couldn't help but laugh. Only in a Vixen world...well ...art reflects somebody's life.

The relationship b/n Lissy and Kara is sweet. I think I told somebody they were smooth in the nice places and smooth in the rough places too. I enjoyed how comfortable they were with each other. Their passion came off the page and set the air on fire. I'm gonna enjoy watching their relationship unfold. So much potential for 'the more' but we'll see.

There was so much incorporated in just the opening chapter. If this is any indication we all better buckle up--- this is going to be a bouncy (eye wiggle) ride filled with sudden curves and drops. No one spends a story like you do AVL!

Having read this chapter once before, I decided it required a re-read ... and I'm so glad I did. I do find that it's imperative to actually read the story, which makes a fabulous change; it kinda makes you have to 'think.' I hope that makes sense.

I've heard so much about this series, been wanting to read it for a while, but also dreading it because I've heard the ending is kind of traumatic.

Decided to bite the bullet and go for it, and so far am glad I did!

I've been commenting elsewhere how much more important it is to me that stories seem real, with believable characters, than that they have steamy sex, and AVixenLiterally delivers that in spades, while still delivering some of the best sex scenes I have seen in a long time.

After discovering Book 02 a couple of weeks ago and found out I had six other chapters to read first I thought I would never get here. I made it and a lot worse for the wear. I mean that in an extraordinarily good way. I may have cried more in the last couple hours than I did when my children were born. Relieved I don't have to wait for the next book. Hell of a cliff hanger. One that actually pushes you off the m'fin cliff. Literally Vixen. C U SOON!*!

I think this is a truly beautiful story of love between girlfriends and between a mother and her daughters. I was really touched by the open affection in the relationships described here. I think the mother/ daughter relationships were particularly moving, as they were so open with each other. In my own life, I have longed to have that kind of relationship with my mother. So I recognize the treasure that these women share. How wonderful to be able to share a "coming out" moment together as this mother and daughter did.

I had a friend once whom I felt was motherly towards me and for whom I had both affectionate feelings and erotic feelings. I felt like I had a crush on her, but I wasn't sure she felt anything other than friendship for me. Somewhere along the way, I hurt this woman. I never meant to hurt her, but I did. I know I broke something that I can't fix, but I wish I could. I just want to tell her one thing-I did genuinely love you as my friend. I felt like I was "in love" with you, and all I wanted was for you to love me back, to kiss me back. I hate that I hurt you. I ask nothing of you other than to know you were so special to me. I fell all over myself and I drove you crazy, for one reason-I loved you. "A gentle answer turns away wrath."

I consider A Match Made, a literary lesbian Classic akin to Jane Eyre, The Scarlett Letter, an any of Colleen Thomas work. The intricate tapestry of Lissy and Kara's ups & downs, love lost & found has been beautifully woven into an unforgettable story. Brava! AVL Brava!

Wow! This was well worth the wait. Although some time has passed since the last installment, you have lost none of your magic. I Love this chapter, I love the fact that my two favourite characters are back together, gosh i simply love it!
