"Check your bank balance," I said to Megan when she eventually made it to the kitchen for breakfast.
She pulled out her phone, clicked a few buttons, and then looked up with a surprised look on her face.
"This is unbelievable," she cried as she rushed over to give me a hug. "I know you said you were wanting to help me, but I had no idea you would be this generous. This takes so much stress off my mind. This will allow me to pay my tuition bill next week and then some."
"And you have given me something that I feared I might never feel again. I am so glad I ran into you at the coffee shop yesterday. You are truly a gift from heaven to me."
"You are such a good man, Paul," Megan gushed. "Now I can't wait to see what you have in mind for our next meeting together!"
