Nice story leading to a continuing series it would appear. Needs significant editing to correct numerous misused names throughout. You seem to mix up Nick, Ronni and once, at least, Rick with the wrong one being used in several places, which is quite confusing to the reader. Having someone else proofread your work before publishing would greatly improve it. Self proofing rarely works. And spell check won't catch that kind of error.
