For a very short story, you have excellent character development. Makes me wanting to see more connection between these two. I hope that this is not a “one off”, but I also don’t see this as a looong series.

I was excited when I saw you are writing again! But, when I read the title – a second time - I cringed. I thought, this is not a good start. I am pretty sure I have read all your works and I enjoyed all of them. After your extended furlough I started to think someone else is writing in your stead.
