Staring the guard in the eyes, Owa reached out and grabbed him by the throat. "I think not," Owa said in a deadly whisper as the muted cracks of the guard's neck bones breaking punctuated his words.
In the deadly silence that followed, Owa turned and entered the tower. The other guards said not a word, and quickly cleared a path as Anna hurried to follow.

But it started as a REALLY good one!
