I Was enjoying the story, however everytime you described kitsune in action you used plural terms rather than singular, themselves, they. Without an explanation to why you used the plural its confusing to the reader.. if not comfortable to read, many will give up.

Kitsune is intended to be non-binary, and for that reason I used They/them pronouns.
