I thought the set-up was natural enough without the previous relationship between your protagonists, but the explanation made sense. I go back and forth on your inclusions of filthy, unfuckable men in your work (this one seemed a little tacked on) though it didn't detract from the story.
Thanks for giving me a new one of yours to read. Interested to see if you plan on continuing it.
