Quinn is an interesting character, full of passion and willing to charge headlong into things, even when chances of victory are much in doubt. Since the full time change to male, that's become an even stronger trait for him. For such a young half-elf, Quinn has endured a great deal. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to tell more of those tales. I know I had fun writing this particular piece.

The 'h' in Theláyna is mostly silent; the name translates to "devotion." She has a few tales, too. Her mother was a time traveller ... and, well, I hope I get a chance to tell her background, too.

If I didn't have to work, I'd crank out a lot more stories, that's for sure.

I feel like I was channel surfing and started watching a movie that was halfway done then after 10 minutes the channel changed again. There was no previous or post story. It was like the entire thing was written so he could get a blowjob and watch her lick up his cum. 3 minutes of PornTube would have had the same effect. Sorry, but this fell completely flat.

Yes, this was a little snapshot in the lives of Quinn, studying to become a bard, and the arch-mage Theláyna. And yes, this tale was only meant to be a hot little interlude in their lives.

If you want to know more about Quinn and his first wife Theláyna, read the Bard's Tale series. Chapter 3 is all about Miriel, Reison's little sister. Then re-read this story. This story tells you who Quinn is, and his relationship to Reison. In the Bard's Tale series, this short story will probably become chapter 60-something. Could be higher.
