Maybe picking nits, but I wouldn't want Sam piloting my yacht. Casting off before getting the diesel started? He'd be in bad shape if it failed and he drifted into something hard, or worse, expensive. Killing the engine before getting sails up? Yeah, let's just let the boat drift side-on to the waves and roll horribly... get both of the ladies seasick right away and maybe do some damage to the masts and rigging. That sort of destroyed immersion there and I couldn't go on.
