She had begun to feel it before she left, the 'shared orgasms' as Amancia had called it. The moment when they could feel the others. Leslie didn't know how to describe it; the closest she could come was a sharing of souls. It let her know the others so intimately, even if it was only for a few seconds. Leslie had tried to remain dispassionate because of the decision she had to make, but that had proved impossible.

She did wrangle one concession from Rhys; a backup plan. Humanity was too vulnerable, and if the Om were successful in killing them, no one would know about the threat. Now information was stored in several places and would be made available if more than two of them were killed. It wasn't what Leslie wanted, but it would do.

Making a decision, she sent a contact in NSA information about current Chinese hacking efforts. Amancia had shown her how to use the AI to set up anonymous accounts, and she fed information to others using it. I will have to figure out a better method, she thought; people will start asking questions. I will also have to be careful, she mused; this morning, she had crushed a glass again without thinking. It will not do to damage the bones of someone I shake hands with.

Her body had changed, was changing, partly due to some intensive training, no doubt; but it was more fundamental than that. The crushed glass, quicker reflexes... and well, everything. All her senses were heightened; smells were more intense, sounds she had never heard, but her eyesight flipping into infrared shocked her the most.

Despite the short time she had at the base, training had been intense. Night, day, in armor, shooting practice, and virtual combat. At first, Leslie was tired, but after a few days, her new body was beginning to kick in, and she maintained the pace. The training had helped occupy her mind and keep her from dwelling on Rhys' plans for the next president.

"Have you looked over the files I gave you," she finally asked Rhys before she left.

"The potential candidates, Yes," he said. "That's is a good list; Bob is trying to train the base AI to assess their potential against what people actually know about them. This will be more difficult; I can hardly just interview them. We will need to be selective and put our efforts behind one of them. We cannot afford to screw it up; we would lose at least 4 years. The elections are three years away, so we do not have a lot of time to shoot for the next election cycle.

"Do they really need to have a symbiont? What about old-fashioned campaign donations or blackmail?" Leslie couldn't believe she had just said that. But the way she could invade someone's deepest secrets, most private emails, or anything else apparently did make that a viable option.

Rhys looked thoughtful for a moment. "Possible," he said, but it would have to be something good. But that is much more complicated than giving one a symbiont; you would have to be in charge of something like that; I have enough on my plate with the Om."

"Yes, but finding the right candidate can be tricky, and what about her family? All of the possible candidates we have looked at have husbands, kids, and in some cases, grandkids." "Having the amount of sex necessary for the symbiont to develop would be all but impossible without major changes to their lives."

Rhys closed his eyes for at least a minute before answering. "I know," he said, "but we can't screw this up. I need control and soon. Mobilizing the entire Earth for defense and to defeat the Om can't wait. If you think we can find another way, then do it. Come up with a viable plan. But," he said, staring into her eyes, "if it doesn't work, I will give her a symbiont one way or another. Let's all be clear about that," he said, firmly looking around. "We cannot afford to wait another four years. I realize the implications, the moral dilemma, but we can't afford to miss with this one."

There had been no argument from the other girls; they seemed to accept Rhys' words as a command. Leslie bristled instead, hating to be questioned; and unwilling to give in like that. "Fine, I will work on it," she had said, turning her attention back to the possible candidates. Rhys assumed he had the last word, and it just pissed her off. H was an arrogant son of a bitch, and sometimes like now, she wanted to hurt him. The argument wasn't over. She stared at his face for a moment, wondering how he could take her to such extremes. One minute she was ready to bear his children, and the next, she wanted to shove something sharp into him.

Rhys looked at her as if he knew what she was thinking. "don't push me into a corner on this," she said, in warning, the message in her eyes making it clear that she had limits.

Rhys just looked at her, amused.

"Still feisty," Sandy said.

"Yes, but not for long," he Replied.

Leslie had gone back to work probing the backgrounds of the various possible candidates, running scenarios with the AI to predict likely outcomes. OMG, she thought as she delved into the women's past histories, the kind of information she had at her fingertips would be priceless to a political operative. "Can we bug them," she asked?

"Sure," Kiania said, "just let me know who, and I can set up visual and voice surveillance."

"How detailed," she asked, thinking about the kind of information she would need. Leslie wanted to know about their marriages - were they still in love, were they cheating, anything that would make the decision easier.

Kiania smiled. "Give me the names, and in a few weeks you will know when they have sex, what positions, and what their pillow talk is."

Leslie blushed, guessing her own townhome was probably equally bugged. Jesus, she thought, wondering who had been watching her. She looked up at Kiania, a questioning look in her eyes. Kiania just winked and smiled. God Damnit! She thought to herself, and she turned to the hologram so the others couldn't see her face. Fuck, she thought as Sandy laughed softly.

That night she had eagerly got on her knees and sucked off Rhys. She came when he did now, but surprisingly she didn't feel self-conscious in front of the other women, even sharing the cum with Thea. I can't believe what a slut I have become, she had thought to herself as she willingly melted into Amancia's arms.

Sending another email, Leslie decided that was enough work for the morning. Carefully locking the door, she brought up the hologram interface. Where are you hiding? She wondered as information began appearing. The AI had parsed all the data looking for patterns, disappearances, reporting's of strange sightings, anything out of the ordinary. Nothing had stood out so far, but there were parts of the world where little information ever made it out. Then there were the terminally paranoid Chinese who tried to control all information.

She gave the AI a new set of parameters to sort through and leaned back in her chair. There was another reason for locking the door. It was noon, and her body was demanding attention. Kiania was right, her libido was taking off, and she knew what was happening right about now back at the base. Letting her head fall back, she spread her legs as her fingers found her core.

The following day at Breakfast, Rhys brought up the Chinese scientist. Kiania, tell us where we are at with our future scientist. Can we get her soon?

'I think so; stealing her away from a heavily guarded research facility is relatively easy but unwise. Better to get her away where she can be isolated, have her disappear in-route. According to the records at the security office, she sometimes meets with university officials at a town about 50 kilometers away. I have her schedule, and I expect her to be visiting the university this Friday. We can pick her up on the way back. She travels alone by car; we can grab her and the car on the way back at night. The question is, how do we handle it when we get her?"

"We will play it by ear, but I think we should take her up in the ship, demonstrate the weapons," Rhys said.

"The story will carry more weight after she sees that we really do have an alien ship, or we can just overwhelm her emotions and cut to the chase," Sandy added.

"I think talking first might be best," said Rhys with a wry smile.

Kiania hoped Rhys's charms and pheromones from all of them would work on the Chinese scientist as well as it did on Leslie. The woman was not half bad looking, a little plain, and had not been in a relationship she could find. Actually, she could find almost nothing about her early life, but then her family came from poor farmers, and written records were often missing. Not even Bob could find any information about Mie's early life. The job seemed to be her life, but they needed her worse than China did; besides, her career would be over soon as they were finished sabotaging her work.

Thea stood up from the chair she was sitting in to walk around a full-sized hologram displayed in her workspace. She had always liked working in the engineering design facility, and now her office was the design facility. None of her colleagues would have recognized it as such, though. Not with the alien fabricators, virtual keyboards, holograms showing various design ideas, robots moving things around, even assembling weapons according to her instructions.

She looked away from the hologram she was using, her gaze drawn toward a round sphere sitting by itself off to one side. It was the AI Rhys had retrieved from the Drans ship, and there was a faint haze around it now as the nano-bits began reappearing. That had started immediately after it arrived at the base, and Rhys estimated they were almost back up to their original density.

Thea really really wanted to get one to take apart, but she didn't dare approach it. Rhys could and did, but no one else dared get close. Not until they understood it better. As to what had happened to the nano-bits that had swarmed Rhys, they had no idea. Bob had said they were still in him, but no one could figure out to what purpose. Strangely enough, the AI wouldn't let anyone access it, not even Rhys. That was a massive disappointment as Thea was sure the plans for the Drans ship and weapons would be there.

She looked up from the hologram she was concentrating on as Sandy walked into the area, elegant and sexy as always. Today she was wearing a midnight blue dress with a small emblem over the left breast. The dress clung to her figure, showing it off, especially her long legs. On her feet, she was wearing a four-inch pair of heels, designed no doubt by Amancia. Thea had not gotten into the habit of dressing up daily, instead preferring to wear a similar colored one piece that fit her like a second skin. The other three women seemed to love clothes; having any fashion or material at their fingertips let them jump from style to style at the push of a button. Interestingly, Amancia did most of the clothes designing even though she preferred to wear as little as possible.

"Why the frown," Sandy asked with that beaming smile of hers, walking over and giving her a kiss. Thea thought Sandy had the best smile and sexiest voice she had ever heard; plus, she was an excellent kisser.

"I am having a few problems with the armor design; I promised Rhys I would have one ready today, but I still can't seem to get it right." The designs for new armor were displayed in a life-sized hologram, and she had been examining the articulated joints. That was still a problem she couldn't figure out how to solve, and the gaps in the elbows and knees were unacceptable to her engineering mind. All engineers were probably OCD, and this was really bugging her.

"Impressive looking, in fact scary," Sandy said, laying a hand on Thea's shoulder as she looked over the full-sized figure. It was encased in flat black armor, the figure obviously Rhys. "I think I see the problem," Sandy said in a teasing voice. "He looks just ferocious, big and strong and all manly. All men will be envious, and all women will want to strip him out of it," she added with a laugh. "Perhaps you should put yourself in the armor, and you could concentrate better."

Thea blushed, "he does look good in this; I have to admit I am looking forward to him wearing it."

"Hmm, me too, Sandy murmured, but tell me, how are you doing?

"Oh, fine, but I will be a lot better once I figure this out."

No, I mean, how are YOU doing. "

"Oh, well, I haven't had time to really think about it," Thea replied. She had been busy, there was so much to do, and then there was Rhys, of course, and Sandy, who looked good enough to eat. And Kiania and Amancia, one of which were almost always with her still. "It's strange, but I don't think much about my previous life," she said. "I still miss many of my friends, but I will see them one day. My boyfriend...well, he was fun, and we might have had a future, but that was then. Now," she said, looking up at Sandy mischievously, "I have a boyfriend and three girlfriends, well four if you count Leslie."

Sandy could feel the emotions flowing off Thea; she could 'taste them' for want of a better word. They tasted good to her, like a satisfying meal, a good steak, or an excellent pasta dish. When Thea was with Rhys, the flavor was much more substantial, a very smooth triple chocolate dessert with honey on top. There were similar flavors when she was with the others as well, different but just as delicious. Interestingly Leslie's emotions had taken on a better taste. Not like Thea's, but at least not so bitter.

Sandy savored the emotions, not just Thea's, but everyones. She was getting more sensitive, more emphatic since Rhys had made her his deputy. The vibrant flavors were more subtle, more complex—each person different but with their own unique flavor.

"Yes, you do have four other lovers now," Sandy said, "and you are a surprisingly strong person. We wanted to slowly introduce you to the idea of aliens, but our hand was forced. Now hardly a month later, you are well along, happy, and Rhys is thrilled with his new weapons. I am sure he will want to express his appreciation in person when you finish the armor design," she said with a teasing smile.

Thea felt heat run through her body as Sandy's words. She flushed slightly. "I don't intend to disappoint him, and I hope you will be there to help him show his appreciation," she said, boldly looking Sandy in the eyes.

"Of course, she chuckled, in her sexy laugh, while running a hand lightly along Thea's cheek and across her lips. "I wouldn't miss it. I am sure Kiania and Amancia will also be impressed with your work. You should eat a good dinner if you finish that today; you will need your energy tonight while everyone is 'thanking you."

Thea bit her lower lip and almost moaned at the heat that flowed through her lower parts. "Go away she said with a laugh; you are distracting me, and if I keep thinking about it, I will never get anything done."

Sandy left with a saucy walk that did nothing to calm Thea's excitement. She is the sexiest woman I have ever met, Thea said to herself. Strong, intelligent, deadly, flies a spaceship and has a long tongue that she loves to use in bed. Slapping herself mentally, she refocused on the armor with renewed determination.

Thea was happy, and she loved her new body. Stronger, flexible, and full of energy. She was only sleeping an average of four hours, but that seemed to be all her body needed. Her appearance was also changing., Breasts were slightly larger, fuller, with long, very sensitive nipples. Amancia had told her about that and other things as well. And the sex, well, it just didn't get any better. Speaking of which, she had better get busy; she needed to finish this design.

"Thea is doing fine," Sandy said to Amancia and Kiania. "It's interesting how quickly she adjusted; I wonder how our Chinese scientist will do?"

"Our approach with Thea is so different from Leslie; I suspect that is the difference; we will have to treat Mei the same way," Amancia replied.

"Leslie seemed to respond to you the best; we need to pry you away from Rhys so you can spend more time with her," Sandy mused. Don't worry," she added, feeling the alarm in Amancia, "it would only be a few days if Rhys agrees."

"I suppose that would be ok," she said, not really liking the idea. The thought of being away from Rhys troubled her made her a little insecure. There was no real reason for it except that she needed Rhys; she needed to serve him, which couldn't happen if she was in DC.

She tried not to blame Leslie, but the woman was difficult. She was like a horse that refused to be ridden, she thought with a smile. That was a comparison she never previously thought of. Still, being out in west Texas, you couldn't help picking up some of the local idioms. I'm sure Leslie wouldn't like being compared to a horse either, she thought with a wicked smile, but then the woman should not make herself such a problem. Amancia was beginning to agree with Sandy; Rhys needed to just get on with it and get her under control; no, make that thoroughly under control.

****

Friday had arrived, and Leslie was looking forward to tonight. Rhys and the girls would all be here, and then Saturday, they would be grabbing the Chinese Scientist, Mei Xing. Part of her couldn't believe they were just going to kidnap one of China's most influential scientists in her field. It was going to be like poking a beehive with a stick, the Chinese government would be furious, legitimately so, and there would be political fallout for sure. But she put her cares away for the moment, thinking about being with Rhys and the girls again. She didn't know if they were staying the night at her place (the place Rhys had moved her into without even asking) or would they take her back to the base. Rhys had just said they would meet at her current home.

Putting her work away, she decided it was time to head home, grab a shower before everyone showed up. Besides, work could be done anywhere now with the AI though, it was easier being at the base and using the Drans equipment. She climbed into her large SUV with a grimace; she hated this beast and wanted her little sports car back. This was like driving a tank.

Leslie turned into the underground parking lot and pulled into her parking space. Leaning back in the back seat, she grabbed her briefcase in a hurry to get upstairs. Leslie knew Rhys would be standing at the bar with a drink in his hands and with Amancia at his side like always. Sandy, Thea, and Kiania would all be there as well. It made her want to hurry, and that was why she didn't notice the man who had quietly slipped up behind her.

Leslie felt a forearm across her throat, cutting off her air and choking off a scream even while being pulled back into a vehicle. Reacting instinctively, she threw her head violently back, making contact with her assailant's nose. That would have hurt if Leslie was just a normal woman, but she wasn't, not anymore. The changes to her body, while just beginning, still made her much stronger and faster. The blow drove the assailant's nose back into his brain, killing him instantly.

Leslie felt the arms go loose as the assailant dropped. Spinning to get away, she was tackled before she could take a step by two others. They went down in a heap, and Leslie's head slammed into the concrete. It dazed her for a second, and she felt hands grab her hair and her hands. She brought a knee up and was rewarded with a cry from one of them, but then a fist crashed into her stomach. Once, twice, and then again. It winded her, but not as bad as it should have, and she twisted her head to get at the man holding her hair. She bit down on his wrist, feeling her teeth crunch through bone. Screaming, he let go of her and struck her in the face as hard as he could, trying to get his wrist out of her mouth.
