Amancia set up looking around and immediately became disoriented. She was looking out through two sets of eyes, hers and Leslie's. She concentrated on her symbiont, realizing it was still closely linked. Though perhaps linked wasn't the correct word, one mind controlled two bodies. Amancia didn't know how it happened, but the mind controlling the two bodies was a combination of hers and Leslie's. When she had opened her mind at Rhys' command and let the connection happen, it seemed her symbiont had been eager; had been impatiently waiting to reconnect. When it did, she and Leslie had been swept up into one combined consciousness, their minds becoming tightly entwined. They had been overwhelmed initially, both terrified of losing their sense of self, but they had no choice. Their minds were pulled together by the combination of the symbionts now residing in Leslie. The individuals were still there, but merging two minds into one was overpowering. It was also awe-inspiring, stunning, and a little erotic.

Amancia had explored Leslie's mind, and she hers. Both had been surprised at the richness, the complexity of each other. They were astonished at the intricate weaving of two minds into one of untapped potential and the profound exchange of thoughts and memories. Amancia had seen everything that went into making Leslie the person she was, her most hidden dreams, all the memories, fantasies, and fears. Amancia knew Leslie better than she knew herself. But it had been a two-way street; she had utterly shared herself with Leslie.

Their minds worked together, and it was exhilarating getting to know each other so profoundly. But then they moved on, sorting through problems that affected them both. First, together they reviewed their recent actions, examining the events from two different perspectives in ways they couldn't have done before. Then, quickly their minds moved on to the more complex problems they had been wrestling with.

When they opened their eyes, the two sets of sensory inputs were confusing, and they felt dizzy, disoriented by the multiple inputs. It was strange thinking in terms of 'they', but it was both of them. First, they looked at Rhys in stereo; then Leslie turned her head around, and suddenly they saw the entire room, 360 degrees. Amancia/Leslie was disoriented again, but it quickly went away.

"How are you?" Rhys said. He was concentrating on their symbionts, and concern washed across his face. The exact same emotions were coming from both of them. Exactly the same!

"We are ok," they both said together, smiling; Leslie's head turned back to Rhys.

The others looked at them with concern. The timber of their voices was the same, and the words came out of both of their mouths.

"What's happened?" Kiania asked, looking at each of them.

"Somehow, they are still linked, "Sandy said.

"What's happening?" Bao whispered to Mei.

Mei just shook her head and shrugged. 'I don't know, Bao, Leslie was attacked by the Om, and something happened when she was healed.

"No, it's more than that," Rhys said in a worried tone. "Who are you? He said, looking at Leslie. "Tell me," he said in a voice he used for commands.

Leslie and Amancia both shivered at the command, and a look of confusion came over both faces." I, we, are Leslie, Amancia," she replied.

"Fuck!" Thea said.

Leslie and Amancia seemed unaffected by the commotion and the concerned look on everyone's faces. Instead, they both smiled and stood up as one, moving to hug Rhys, precisely the same facial expressions and movements as if both bodies were being controlled by one brain.

Sandy moved quickly to join them, her hair wrapping around all of them. Rhys used his connection to look closely at the symbionts. Amancia's appeared intact, but Leslie's was still a mixture of the two, mostly hers. He could also see the cloud of nanobits flowing back and forth between the two; they had still not returned back to their necks.

"Bob, are the nanobits making the connection," he asked out loud while holding the girls.

"Yes, it appears they are. I have repaired as much of your mate Leslie's symbiont as I could, but much of it was damaged. She would not survive without the additional symbiont material from the other mate. What will happen over the long term is not clear, but it must remain there for the symbiont to stay alive. "

"Will she survive without the connection?"

"Yes, all they have to do is separate their minds; nothing is forcing your mates to share a consciousness."

"Then why are they still connected like that?" Mei asked, looking at the two women standing in Rhys' arms.

"Judging from their emotions, they like it," Sandy said, looking closely at Amancia. They are happy, I feel joy, love, and not a little arousal," she said with surprise looking up at Rhys. "Are you doing that?"

"No," he said thoughtfully, bringing his hand up between the girls and into the path of the nanobits. They were a constant stream between them, a silvery cloud of particles, billions and billions of them, he guessed. They were still flowing in a figure-eight pattern around their necks; placing his hand in the path did not affect the movement in the least; it continued as if it wasn't there. He controlled the nanobytes, at least he had, unless something had changed. Picturing their chokers' in his mind, he made a fist as if squeezing the silvery cloud. The movement ceased immediately, the cloud dissipated, the burnished gold-colored chokers' reforming instantly.

Leslie let out a gasp and went limp in Rhys's arm, her head rolling back as if unconscious. Amancia let out a sharp yelp and staggered, held up by Sandy's hair.

Leslie shook herself slowly, bringing her hand to her hand as if to hold it. Her following words surprised them all. God, Damn it, Rhys! What the fuck was that for. Shit shit shit," she added, looking up at him with anger-filled eyes.

"Shhh, it's ok," Amancia said, recovering and wrapping her arms around Leslie.

Tears leaked through Leslie's eyes for a minute, but Amancia seemed able to calm her. "I miss it," she said, sounding more annoyed than anything. The sudden severing of the connection had been almost painful and disorienting, to say the least. Her world had suddenly collapsed into a much different view, missing what seemed a vital part of her. The combination of the two had been so intimate, and their minds had linked on an entirely different level. They had shared their souls, thoughts, desires, ambitions, everything! She had never known someone so intimately as she now knew Amancia, and Rhys had ripped them apart!

"We are fine," Amancia said, looking up at Rhys, "but the break was so sudden, almost painful."

"Tell me," Sandy said, pulling Amancia into a hug and a kiss.

"Somehow we combined, our minds were working together as if there were two bodies, but one mind. It was wonderful, but there are no words to describe the experience."

Sandy looked at Rhys, but he just shrugged his shoulders.

"But we did come up with a strategy for dealing with the current government,'' Leslie said; we worked it out while getting to know each other. But can we talk about it over dinner? I'm starved.

Dinner was a peculiar experience, Rhys thought. There was an underlying sexual tension as everyone knew Bao would get a symbiont. The girls all knew she had not been with a man before, and they were determined to make it a memorable experience for her. Equally intriguing were the changes in Amancia and Leslie, some subtle, but others not. Tonight they sat together, close together, and touched at every opportunity. A quick caress of the fingers, a stroke of the hair, a kiss on the cheek, or a whisper in an ear. It was not all sexual. Rhys could see their emotions overlapping if he concentrated, and while the arousal was there, it was more the familiarity of intimate lovers. Each seemed to anticipate the needs of the other, serving each other food eating off the others plate.

The urge to connect again was unmistakable, but the nanobytes answered to him, and he would not allow it for now. Tomorrow there would be time for experimentation, and he was very intrigued to know how this connection worked. Bob had said their minds doubled in speed when they were linked. Kiania had pointed out it might apply to their reflexes as well and wondered what they would be like in combat.

"I wonder what they will be like in bed when connected," Sandy said to him privately, the excitement evident in her voice. She winked, knowing that he had been thinking the same thing.

"I am sure we will find out, but not tonight."

"No, tonight you are spoken for; Bao is determined to get a jump start on her symbiont. She has been asking for information about you and sex, talking to everyone. She is very determined, and being around us has been driving her hormones crazy. If I were you, I would make sure I ate plenty; you might need your energy tonight."

"I love a challenge, but first, I think we need to hear from our two binaries."

"Binaries?"

"Two stars closely orbiting each other, what is called a binary system."

"Yes, I agree," Sandy said thoughtfully, "a good description."

"Ok, Ladies," Rhys said, taking the last drink of his wine. "Let's hear your updated plans the two of you came up with."

Everyone turned to look at Amancia and Leslie, but they looked at each other instead of replying.

"No, not now," Rhys said firmly, "we will experiment tomorrow; for now, I like you the way you are, two different individuals.

Amancia turned to him with a cute pout on her face. Leslie just looked disgusted with him.

"Be yourselves tonight; tomorrow we will work on it."

Leslie nodded, and a hologram sprang to life over the table. Rhys could see the picture of a woman he didn't recognize. "Anita Blackwell, currently governor of Idaho, close friends with the current Vice President. For many years, he has been her political mentor; their relationship goes back to her college days when she campaigned for him. Politically middle of the road, good credentials, smart, ambitious, and a possible candidate for the senate or even the White House. Married, three children, husband runs his own business, now responsible for logistics for this international chain. She has an excellent bipartisan record in Idaho, and she looks pretty good," she added.

"Why her, and how does this get us any closer. I am concerned with the Om expansion, which is on my list to discuss tonight. We need someone in place sooner than later."

"We agree," Amancia said.

"Yes, time is of the essence," Leslie said, "and we need to move quickly before events spiral out of control. Amancia and I, we, together that is, think this is the best option. Unfortunately, we need to remove the current president; he will suffer a stroke. With the right encouragement, the new president picks her for his VP. "

"You think we can control his choice?"

"Yes, one way or another," she said. We think the Om threat is growing too great; you need to have the resources of the armed forces at your disposal. This is the quickest way."

Rhys looked around the room. "The Om are expanding," Kiania said; we have to strike back soon. They have four new hives that we don't know anything about."

Rhys looked at Thea. She shrugged, "I agree with Kiania, but we are crossing a line here that we haven't before. Think about it; we just casually discussed killing the President, breaking up a woman's marriage, and even killing the new President if necessary."

"Sandy?" Rhys asked, raising an eyebrow.

She was quiet for a minute, sipping her brandy while her hair snaked across the table, touching Leslie and Amancia. She seemed to study each of them, tasting their emotions. She wasn't as good at it as Rhys, but she didn't quite know what to make of the cold-blooded plan considering Amancia was part of it. Amancia could kill when needed, but she was the economist. This seemed like something Leslie would come up with. She wondered how much this connection had affected Amancia, and did she even know it.

"We can affect this outcome by influencing the economy, Idaho will suddenly flourish, and the press will be impressed. I think we can do this," Amancia said, looking at Sandy.

Sandy turned to Rhys. "Your decision, I trust what they have said."

Rhys looked thoughtful, considering the implications of what was being proposed. It would make life easier, but Thea was right; they were crossing a line. It was his decision, no one else's. He looked around the room one more time. Leslie was awaiting his decision, impatient as always and sure she was right. Amancia was calm but also convinced. Kiania would agree with whatever his decision was, as would Thea. Sandy approved of the plan and wanted to go ahead with it no matter what he said.

"I will think about it tonight and make a decision tomorrow. This is not something to be taken lightly," he said, seeing the impatience on Leslie's face. "Now, would you get me some brandy Amancia? I think some dessert is in order." He looked at Bao, who blushed, but didn't turn her eyes away. The others saw his gaze, and he could feel the almost instant change in everyone. Bao, especially as pheromones filled the air. Her breathing quickened, and Rhys did not need a symbiont to tell him what she wanted.

Bao's thoughts had been in a fog the past few days; she had been consumed by thoughts of Rhys and the other women. Sitting through dinner had been the most challenging thing she had ever done. She didn't really remember anything they discussed; nothing was as important as what would happen after dinner. She had sat next to Mei, shivering with excitement and anticipation. She was focused on Rhys and Sandy, too, she guessed, but mainly on Rhys. When dinner ended, he looked at her and smiled at her in that oh-so-sexy way she thought she would just combust.

The girls took her out and dressed her up, fussing over her hair and makeup, but Bao really didn't remember much of it. She was beside herself with anticipation, and the other women kept touching her, stroking her until she was in a sexual daze. When they finally got her into the bedroom and saw Rhys, it became real, and she froze; she couldn't breathe, couldn't move.

Then Rhys looked at her, not saying anything for a moment, then smiling and telling her she looked beautiful. Bao thought Rhys was perfect; everything was perfect about him, then somehow, she was in his arms, and he was kissing her. His hands were large but gentle, and his body solid, oh so muscular. Bao trembled as he held her, scared of what was going to happen, afraid that it wouldn't happen, but so aroused she couldn't possibly let go.

"Relax, Bao," Rhys said in a deep voice, ``you are beautiful." He brought his hand up, cupping her small breast, and Bao wondered when she had lost her clothes. She couldn't even remember taking them off.

She felt someone take her hand, running it down Rhys' chest, over his stomach, then down to his cock. She had never held one before, had never been naked with a man, and she shivered as the hand guiding her wrapped her fingers around it. Bao's breath quickened; it was so big and hard, yet silky at the same time; her heart wanted to explode.

"That feels good," Rhys told her in a deep, husky voice. Bao gasped and wiggled as something hard and silky touched her groin, gently sliding between her legs, teasing her clit with light, delicate touches.

Sandy smiled at Bao's reaction and the lust she could feel flowing from her. Looking at Rhys for permission, she tried to 'push with her mind' at Bao. Usually, there needed a symbiont for this to be effective, but Sandy felt Bao respond, moaning loudly and gripping Rhys even harder, now with both hands.

"Spread your legs for me Rhys said; his voice was low, husky, passionate, loaded with desire.

Bao did, spreading her legs, realizing she was wet, slippery, and sensitive.

"Beautiful," Rhys said again, as he kissed her and his thumbs brushed her nipples, and his mouth swallowed her moan, and his tongue was deep in her mouth.

Bao's heart was pounding, her stomach clenched tight as Rhys' fingers brushed over her wetness; little electric shocks rippled through her as his hand ran over her body, exploring, touching, caressing. Bao could feel his fingers her sex, and she was wet, wet and ready. When his fingertip pushed inwards, she opened to him, his finger probed inexorably up inside her. Then his knees stretched her legs further apart, and she felt other hands on her legs, spreading her still wider. Rhys looked down at his cock, still held by Bao's small hands. She looked down, too aroused with passion to be scared any longer. "Do it, please do it," Bao begged softly, the need and excitement evident in her voice.

He kissed her slow, gentle, teasing, his lips brushed hers, his tongue slipped into her mouth, flirted, teased her lips. Then, the kiss morphed into something harder, their lips sealed, his tongue deep in her mouth. Time slowed for Bao as she felt other hands join her on his cock, guiding it to her, gently trying to gain entrance to her virgin center. That's right, open for him, Thea whispered in her ear as hands drew her legs up toward her chest, opening her up even more. Bao cried out as she felt Rhys' cock seeking her entrance. She wanted it, wanted it so bad that nothing else mattered in her life this second. Thrusting up, Bao felt the head of his cock slip inside, just a bit, but it was enough to encourage her. As she surrendered herself to him.

Bao felt a grief tinge of fear, a dread of the unknown, but then it was gone as if that emotion had been taken away. She raised her knees even higher, making herself more vulnerable, offering herself up to him. "Nnnhhhhh," she moaned As Rhys slid into her. Big, he felt so big as he pressed himself inside her. A steady, relentless pressure forced her to open to him, and he slowly pushed a little, then again and again. "Ahhhhhh, she moaned as she felt something give way inside her, her back arching instinctively, forcing the cock deeper.

"Good girl," Sandy whispered in her ear, "take him all inside you." Sandy was almost beside herself with lust, and with her hair caressing Bao and Rhys, she could feel everything they did.

Bao moaned even louder as Rhys slid all the way into her. She shuddered beneath him as his cock entered her all the way. It was big, and she was stretching around him. "Ohhhhhh," she sobbed, tensing as he began slowly thrusting inside her. Again and again, gradually, gently increasing his pace. Then he was all inside of her, and Bao thought it seemed impossible, but she had taken him all. She was his now she knew, his to make love to, his to take, to enjoy.

"She did challenge you," Sandy whispered in Rhys' ear as she snuggled up against him.

"She did indeed," he said with a self-satisfied smile. "And I was up to the challenge, but barely." He looked over at Bao, sleeping in a tangled sprawl of limbs with Thea and Mei. "She was determined," he admitted, "but let's talk about you and what you were doing to her."

Sandy rolled onto her back, looking up at the ceiling. She could feel Rhys running his fingers through her hair, pulling on it gently. "I know, I hope you aren't mad, but I didn't know I could do it until then. I have never been able to influence someone's emotions that didn't have a symbiont before."

Rhys thought about what that meant. "The ability to change or influence a person's emotions is a potent weapon. No, I am not mad; you encouraged Bao, stopped her fear, made the highs even higher. You are full of surprises lately."

"So are you," she said, looking at Rhys intently.

"What do you mean?"
