Due of the number of abbreviations, ship listings, and list of characters, in this story, I include a glossary that is now in a stand-alone chapter called 'All That Glitters: Notes'. Any and all information that you want or need to know about the series is included in Notes. It will be updated frequently simply by re-issuing the chapter to Literotica.

There is little attempt to explain the back story, so it is necessary to read previous chapters to fully understand where we are.

As before, I claim sole responsibility for the story line. This story is a fantasy, with no basis in reality. Any similarity that you may perceive to current events, people, or situations real or imaginary is completely unintended. Look no further than the story line for its intent and purpose.

A big shout out to SaddleRidder for all the help she has provided in editing. With her guidance, I'm making fewer and fewer errors, but she still finds them. If you find any errors still left in this chapter, they are mine.

Please rate and comment. But keep your comments respectful. If you rant and rave or are disrespectful in your commentary, it will be deleted.

'Nuff said...enjoy.

IPPF HQ, Aereet City, Planet Anuura, Caiden System, Fifty-Six Light Years from Terra

On her second day out of hospital, Henadi Noor met with the others at Aereet City IPPF HQ. Her first day had been spent with her family, catching up after so many years away.

Everyone involved in the rescue was there with the exception of Fayad and his two lovely brides who were not in attendance, and not expected to be for several more days, the typical honeymoon being something around ten days. Fayad's would be cut short, as Fiona was planning on leaving in four days.

"How are you doing, Henadi?" Fiona asked as her friend entered the conference room that was set up for them.

"Much better," she told the group, with a smile. "My back has been cleaned up and everything is where is should be. Tissue regrowth is as expected, with healing to be completed by two weeks from today. There will only be minimal scaring. Seito will be able to monitor my condition back on the ship."

"We're so sorry about that, Henadi," Raymond began. "But the Terran Senate wouldn't act quickly enough to provide us with a warrant even though we were prodding them to move as fast as possible. When I told them I would personally hold them responsible for your death, they started to get the idea that we were serious.

"As it was, it took Navy Intelligence getting into one of Wassim Andjuran's computers and finding the necessary evidence of his conspiracy with pirate and other criminal syndicates, his murder of Senator Montasso, the theft of Montasso's illegally gained 'nest egg', Andjuran's use of that nest egg to bribe other senators, his acquisition of intelligence that led to the deaths of countless thousands of Union Citizens at the hands of the pirate syndicates and the capture and making into slaves of many times more, his pilfering of Senate funds from the Human Resources and Refugee Committee (HRRC), and other items found on that one computer finally got the senators combined asses off their seats and into a private chamber where they issued a warrant for Andjuran's arrest.

"Without that warrant, we would have been assaulting an allied planet of the Union in order to rescue you. After what we just did at New Hadria, we would have lost everything had we come after you. Please do not doubt that, we and the ship's personnel, would have gone outlaw in order to get you back.

"As it was, with the warrant we were able to at least prevent your death, if not you're scourging," Raymond finished.

"Your scourging has unleashed hell within the ranks of the Church of Andanii," C. Supt. Burhan stated. "We have been receiving reports of significant changes in the dynamics between men and women within the church now that Andjuran has been removed from his role as Chief Cleric, the first of which was the renaming of the role to that of Grand Cleric.

"The women of the church are asking for assistance in education to bring them up to their peak potential. Funds are being made available from, ironically of all places, the HRRC. I think the Senate wants to make up for their tardiness allowing you to be scourged.

"You scourging was recorded by many, and recently broadcast throughout the Union. You have become an overnight sensation and a role-model to women everywhere. The Senate was likely shamed into action because of that vid," Burhan concluded.

"So you're telling me that my naked ass was seen by everyone in the Union?" Henadi asked.

"You have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of about that ass of yours," Gillaya put her two hundredth credits worth in. "You will probably have offers of marriage from all over the Union after people see those vids, from both sexes I imagine," Gillaya quipped as she finished with a smirk.

"I swear to the Gods, Gillaya, you are going to get me removed from my office for me not being able to contain sexism within my subordinates," Fiona moaned, to the laughter of all.

"I'm just glad I was close enough to stop Najmaddin from cutting off your head," Kim stated. "It was too close, Henadi."

"Fucking right it was," snarled Ululla Mbibo. "I don't ever want to go through something like that again. You scared me out of ten years of my life. When I saw all that blood, I wasn't sure who had died."

"So that was you who called out my name?" Henadi asked. Ululla confirmed the fact with a small nod of her head.

"What's going to happen now?" Henadi asked.

"Because it was their warrant we used, the Senate has first rights on Wassim Andjuran," Burhan told the group. "While Terran Law does allow the death penalty, and there is no doubt in my mind that Andjuran will receive that, he must be kept alive to answer questions here on Anuura, after he finishes his trials on Terra.

"So far, the old Grand Council has been very informative of Andjuran's activities. They will face their own trials and are helping as best they can in order to receive leniency. They have been a fountain of very useful information," Burhan finished, with a satisfied grin.

"So all of this is getting wrapped up then?" Fiona asked. "We will be able to leave soon?"

"We have all of your statements, and have acquired many vid recordings confirming most, if not all, of those statements. You should be able to leave on Monday, if that is not too late for your group?" Burhan asked.

"Wednesday morning, we promised Fayad four days, from Saturday to Tuesday," Fiona said with a smile. "He's going to Liramor Holdings Management Course, and he will be very busy starting the end of this week. The newlyweds need their time together."

Hotel Sana, Anur Say, Capital City of Planet Anuura

Fayad woke up between the naked bodies of his two lovely brides as they cuddled up to him in their sleep. Someone had pulled the sheets off them last night, which was good, as their closeness was making him very warm. Not that he minded.

He was trying to figure out how to extract himself from between his two brides when Junelliea's eyes fluttered open. She smiled at him and leaned in for a kiss.

"While I would like nothing more than to continue where we left off last night, I must attend to nature," Fayad told her with a smile.

"Oh! Now I know what woke me," Junelliea said, blushing.

The two slipped from the bed and went to the bathroom. Fortunately, there were two toilettes.

Once they finished, they moved back to the bed, where Hanalei was just waking up.

"Good morning, Paiya," Fayad spoke softly to Hanalei.

"Good morning, Challek," Hanalei replied, with the term of endearment she used for her husband, harking back to their first meeting.

She smiled up at her Trine and then got a pained look on her face.

Junelliea laughed. "It's what woke us up, too," she told her friend and fellow wife.

There was a knock at the door, which opened without warning. The wait staff of two mature women walked in with a large trolley filled with breakfast.

The ladies quickly tried to dive back under the sheets, but the two staff women just laughed.

"We've seen it all before, young ones," said one of the older women.

"There is plenty of food and I suspect you will need it after last night. This is not the honeymoon suite, which means your nocturnal activities were heard," she finished with a gentle smile.

"I hope we didn't keep anyone awake," a blushingly embarrassed Junelliea asked.

"More likely inspired others to keep up with you," the second woman answered with a naughty smile. "We'll be back for the trolley, or you can just place it in the hall when you are finished with the food. That way we won't intrude should you continue your activities," she said with a wink as they left.

The three newlyweds looked at each other and then broke out into laughter. They still had the rest of the day and three more for their honeymoon, more than enough time to inspire the denizens of the hotel...

Central Control, Liramor-23, Piscium System, 106 Light Years from Terra

Capt. Beverley Davis was helping Capt. Liana Dostier keeping the Navy side of Liramor-23 going. They were working with David Latten, the Assistant Director of Liramor-23, now acting Director while Fiona was off the platform.

They had received the good news of Henadi's rescue earlier in the week and broadcast it to the fleet via the link. The mood on the platform had lifted immeasurably after the announcement.

With the bounties lifted on Henadi and Fiona, their jobs would become a lot less dangerous, though the pirate syndicates were still out there.

"How are things, David? Beverley asked, turning to him as he entered Central Control.

"I miss Fayad," David returned immediately. "Despite his being new to the role, he really knew how to deal with people and kept everything running smoothly here. It meant that I could leave the supervision of control to him, allowing me to keep up with paperwork.

"The downside of all of this, is that he will be going directly to Liramor Prime to take part in the senior management course. Which means I won't have him back for another three months IF they send him back." David said wistfully.

"But Fiona should be back soon, which means she can keep up with the paperwork while you manage control," Liana said with a smile.

"I still need a good SOps for the position," David replied. "Fayad is not likely to remain in this role long, he is too good."

"Did you see the vids of the marriage?" David asked of Liana. "Those two ladies of his are lookers."

"How is he going to explain two wives to Liramor Holdings?" Liana wondered.

"They have had people who have come from worlds that allow for plural marriages before," David told them. "There is a contingency, and some of the senior management have met at least one of his wives already."

"Going to be an interesting course for our young Fayad Ouihya," Liana said.

"Fayad Piscium," David corrected. "They adopted the name Piscium for the new house."

"Oh! Then they will really be in for it!" Liana returned.

"Yes, I can see that. Lots of jealousy from his fellow students. I hope he can manage it." Beverley added.

"I'm sure that he will be able to," David let them know. "He is very strong in the people category after all."

Liramor Holdings HQ, Liramor City, Liramor Prime, Liramor System, Thirty Light Years from Terra

Fiona walked into the office of her friend Annette Liramor with Fayad, his two wives, Raymond Clark, Carolyne Justine, Lt. Ululla Mbibo, Kim Oshiiru, Capt. Henadi Noor, Cdr. Helga Hellebore, and Gillaya in tow.

Annette jumped up and grabbed Henadi's arms and pulled her into a half hug, uncertain if her back was better or not.

"You can hug me full force, Annette," Henadi laughed, an anxious Annette doing just that.

"Gods, Henadi, that scourging looked frightening, I thought you would have died from that," Annette told her, tears in her eyes.

"I wasn't about to let the pompous ass Andjuran win," Henadi told them all. "He was going down even if he managed to kill me."

"I'm glad we didn't have to find out the hard way about that," Annette told her. "I would rather see him win and you alive, even if it meant he got away."

"He could have escaped, but he decided he wanted to see me dead first," Henadi said. "If he hadn't, he would have been long gone before the IPPF could have arrested him. His hatred of women, and of me personally, wound up costing him everything."

"So," Fiona stepped in at that point. "We have stopped off to bring you Fayad of the House of Piscium, and his two lovely brides, Hanalei Anar, and Junelliea Harlan."

"Oh! I saw vids of that beautiful wedding, but you two put your images to shame. We welcome you to Liramor Holdings," Annette said, giving the traditional double kiss and hugging the two new brides.

"Do you know what you want to do, other than being wives to your darling husband?" she asked.

"I've been working as sort of a personal manager in the Johal Compound, back on Terra, and also working to help Navy Intelligence and the IPPF," Hanalei told Annette. "I think I want to look at HR or Hospitality and see if that is something for me but working with Intelligence was so thrilling. I'm kind of open to things right now."

"I have yet to decide what I wish to do, there are so many things that interest me," Junelliea replied. "Though I really want to do something that deals with people. Maybe in social services? I really can't say for now."

"Are you planning on making Liramor Prime your home destination for now?" Annette asked Fayad. "I mean, considering the name of your new house."

"Not if I am sent back to Liramor-23 after the course," Fayad answered. "The platform is going to become very important, not only to Liramor Holdings but to the TGA as well. It would be better if we could relocate there as a house if it is possible."

"We are considering family housing on the platform, now that it is going to be used for more than just mining," Annette informed them. "You would fit right in and could possibly be our first family on the platform.

"We can get your two ladies started on any courses they want. Liramor-23 has a Campus of Malton University, so they can continue on any programs they do not finish here should we send you back there," Annette told them.

"Why the House of Piscium?" Annette asked.

"That was Hanalei's idea. She told me that the Piscium system was where my fortunes turned for the better for all of us. It has significance in my life and in theirs, and it is an unusual name that translates well into High Andanii," he answered, including his wives in the statement.

Annette smiled at the answer. She called for her EA and had Fayad and the ladies taken for their assessments and preparations for Fayad's course.

"Can you stay?" Annette asked, turning to Fiona.

"Unfortunately, I have already been gone too long from the platform," Fiona told her friend. "I'm sure that Raymond, Ululla, Kim and Henadi, want to get back to The Wanderer sooner rather than later."

"I understand, but the next time you're on planet, you're coming to the house for a few days, even if I have to bring your mother there for your reunion," Annette said, getting a smile and a nod from Fiona.

"By the way, the bounty on you has been lifted. We are no longer going to pay from Gillaya as your bodyguard," Annette finished.

"Oddly enough, Raymond is in need of a bodyguard," Kim spoke up. "He will not admit it, but all the same, I would feel better if there was someone with him."

"Well, I guess I get no say in the matter," Raymond said. "You will have big shoes to fill, though. Analisa was a senior member at VSC, she had contacts everywhere with the other affiliates."

"I don't have those kinds of contacts, only having worked with VSC on occasion," Gillaya admitted. "However, my special abilities will allow me to know when someone is targeting you and when someone is going to act against you. That would be useful to you."

"It would indeed," Ululla Mbibo put her two hundredth credits worth in.

"I have worked with Peacekeepers, police officers, and bodyguards from Hollander's World before, their reflexes cannot be explained," Ululla informed Raymond. "And on top of that, she is cute."

"Oh, I think I'm going to like working for you Mr. Clark," Gillaya stated, fluttering her eyes at Ululla.

"Better for you than for me," Fiona quipped, to much laughter.

Central Control, Liramor-23, Piscium System

With so many ships coming into the system recently, Capt. Davis had enacted a new protocol, with the approval of Capt. Dostier and Asst. Dir. David Latten. Basically, it called for any vessel coming into a known entry lane not to be listed as enemy until further notice. That meant that while weapons were manned, they did not immediately call for the shut down of business in the cages.

Latten was all for that, as that was the business part of the platform. Weapons were more than happy to react whenever, considering it to be part of their work-up exercises.

So, when the Valour returned to the platform, they didn't react to it as a threat, especially once they had confirmation from the IFF system.

Fiona turned her vessel towards The Wanderer and landed in the forward shuttle bay there in order to drop off most of her fellow travellers. She then moved the Valour back to her home bay and gave the crew the day off. Maintenance started working on the little craft almost immediately. Fiona was pleased to see that.

"OK, so who do I have to thank for the speed with which maintenance hit the Valour after it landed?" Fiona asked.

"That was a joint decision between Capt. Dostier and I, ma'am," David Latten informed her. We decided that any ship belonging to the platform would get a quick look whenever they arrived. This was meant mostly for the long-rang Rockhounds, but it has served us very well since it's inception. We have caught a number of problems in the early stages, preventing more serious issues because of this."

"Good catch. I assume it is not going to cost us more?" Fiona asked.

"Actually, it makes for more efficient use of our maintenance teams, many of which would otherwise be idle for extended periods. Now they get in on activities and make their days useful for the platform." Latten explained.

"Nice. That is good to hear," Fiona admitted.

"We delivered Fayad Piscium and his two wives to Liramor Holdings HQ for the start of his course. He will not be with us for several months, and there is no guarantee that he will come back to us at the end of it," Fiona informed her senior people.

"We'll have to muddle along. I also heard news that you might be moving elsewhere, David," Fiona told him. "You would normally have become the new Director as I moved back to Liramor Holdings, however, my return to Liramor Prime is not going to happen for now. There are two mining platforms, and three stations owned by Liramor Holdings that are in need of a new Director, and you will probably be given one of those.

"I can't say when that will happen, but likely within the next couple of months," Fiona ended.

"How are repairs and modifications to the platform progressing?" she asked.

"We have eight of the new Ore Ovens in place on their extended bases, moving them out one hundred meters from where they were previously housed," David stated. "As soon as we close them in, we can start using them. Two more ovens have arrived on the last supply vessels and we can anticipate two ovens arriving on each of the weekly supply ships until all eighteen have been installed. We are working hard to make their housing ready for them as they arrive and to get them enclosed for operations once they are in place.
