Needs an editor to be readable. Really distracting wording and spelling.

AnonymousAnonymousabout 7 years ago
Edit, and urgently please!

This is not readable as published, really. Had to stop after a few paragraphs. Withdraw and do your homework first!

Edit, Edit, and more edit...

Or at least proof read it. In the beginning the whole story was rather choppy and had a few grammar and syntax errors. I also would have drawn out the romance angle with Pam a bit more, but no biggie...

Not a bad story over all though

Descriptions, please?

He may have a bayonet between his legs, but where's the description? Any chest hair? Treasure trail? Long cock and pubes? Muscular and masculine chest and arms? I'm disappointed!

To the "unreadable needs an editor" folks

This is not a english comp class nor is a published work in the open market. If you can't at least leave your name with criticism so we can take a look at your work. Shut it. It was posted as something for many to get off too or for our enjoyment. Also noticed that none, no one, zero of the grammar police offered their services as an editor after telling the writer how much on is needed.

Spineless Anons, hiding in their rooms, throwing stones at folks who at least try.

I may be anon, but I agree about the editing, at least show some pride in what you write, doesn't take much to edit before reading, I get it's a free site, but FFS take some pride in it.

As for putting a user name @previous anon. It's okay for you to CRITICIZE comments without putting YOUR name to it? But we can't say anything about editing without a 'name'. Hypocrite much?

Give Me a Fucking Break!

Hey to those critics out there, write and submit a story for the trolls to trash. Yeah, there were typos and some awkward spots BUT the story of Stan was great overall. Very enjoyable. Go Devil Dogs!

Minor comment

If he joined out of high school and was 23 with two deployments, he wouldn't have just two medals but at least 5; the Bronze Star & Purple Heart are joined by Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Iraq Campaign Medal. Just FYI; the Marines take their bling seriously...

As a former Royal Marine attached rank I immediately understood where this story was heading. Armed Forces marriages do not have any of the restraint of other marriages as both partners are fully aware of the fact that life is for living in the moment and the risk of death is always imminent. This story has caught that excitement so well, thank you for taking me back well over 40years to my courtship and marriage.

I gave this story 5 stars but, Anonymous is correct! We Marines do take our bling (as he put it) seriously. And he is correct when he said after 5 years Stan would have a minimum of 5 medals. Other points that I feel have to be made are, never in the 246 year history of the United States Marine Corps have we ever had Drill Sergeants! We have Drill Instructors. Also never once have I ever packed a duffel bag. In the Marines we use Seabags, plus while the author did describe the uniform correctly for a formal occasion we wear our Dress Blues not Blue Dress uniforms plus the author did not mention that the Corporal would have worn his white cover with his Dress Blues. All in all though this story was well written and I shall continue to give it the 5 star rating.
