The tease indicated an "anatomy of an affair" & the consequences. Yes, she got pregnant from the affair (imbeciles never heard of Trojans? Anyway, outside of that, there's nothing. Reading consequences, one thinks of monumental battles, her being thrown out of the house, divorce, whatever. As such, the story left me too empty. Well the half of the story you wrote definitely fulfills the parts of explaining an affair and this being a erotic story site. Too you did finish it with the consequences of her affair. Without the confession to Tim and reaction of her conservative family that doesn’t like him, Carol hasn’t suffered any consequences of getting pregnant by another man.

You could have done more with this, and as long as Tim divorced her you would have gotten a decent score, even if she went on to marry John and have more kids. Hell if her mother really hates Tim she may be happy to learn John is her grandchild’s sperm donor and Tim is out of Carol’s life.

Consequences? The story gets close to them, but we never see them played out.
