First, thank you for a great story!! It is both well written and cute. It is worth rereading on April 1st!

Second, I am reading this story and planning my Pi Day blueberry pies for Pi Day, and I sense you too are a Pi Day fan, **Happy Pi Day**.(with Covid-19, I am baking more as I am at home).

Third, I hope Anna and Patrick can become good friends. Her birthday certainly perked up with that kiss and what ensued.

Fourth, I understand why Anna was initially unhappy, but when Patrick kissed her and she kissed him back. The salt was the signal to Patrick! :-)

As a male financial professional who worked for several years in the bank towers of Toronto, I dated a few colleagues but never had a relationship start this way. The rule at both big accounting firms was that one could date at about the same level (i.e. both managers) and not reporting to each other. Patrick as a senior IT person and Anna as a finance person met that criteria.

I am looking forward to reading your other stories.

Possibly a little short but a lot crammed into 1 page. Well thought and executed, loved the way they came together. Yes, it was fast but it's obvious they have been keen on each other for a while and it came to an explosive head.

Might be a problem as work for same company but will depend on company policy but as they're in different departments and neither can effect the other it should be OK.

I know I'd hate it if my birthday fell on April 1st.

Worth 5 stars I'd say.
