PastMaster, nicely done. Started reading the comments and saw that most noted it as well, but something happened about 9 months ago (Oct. 2022) where a “stupid” epidemic raced through Lit and a bunch of people lost their abilities to comprehend a storyline. Suicide? 6 years of cheating? Really? Dude died 6+ years ago. Wife remarried. No cheating. Good God. Please eradicate the “stupid” virus.

A pure genuine look at a truly Loving Wife. I love the betrayal filled submissions in LW as much as the next person, but sometimes its nice to be reminded what a Loving Wife really is. Personally would have put it in Romance given what LW has become on this site, but I love the fact you were brave enough not to.

Had recently been watching YouTube reactions to the film you mention without naming (I’m quite certain it’s the same one), so I guess that primed me for this, because I managed to guess the ending before the reveal. I don’t think I would have though, without the author’s note setting my brain to analyzing where the twist might be. Still a good story.
