As it turns out, such thinking was entirely unnecessary. The scent of fire travelled far, and by the time he followed it and arrived at the campus, all he could see was a horde of the undead and screams of the dying.

Well this sucks.... just as it was getting good too. Maybe it's not dead yet, not pun intended, as the time between the chapters is around a year, if I'm correct. Hell of a long time to wait but I would like to see how it goes for Ray and his new family. Got to imagine that he'll find a way to whisk them out of the city to his country place.
So... It's 2023 now; do we get another chapter? It's an interesting story!
