Did you post this story on this website or another before, it seems like I have read it before?

Read before

I have read this story before. Is this a rewrite?

From the author

I am returning to lit after almost a year long break from it, and I'm reposting all of my old stories. That's why these are all familiar.

I fucking love you! These stories touch my heart to the very core. I haven't read a story that does that to me in so long. Please continue to make more works for your loving fanboys! O/////////O

The way the story is told, I'm getting the sense David is attracted largely by Cormac's money. Would have worked better without the money comments at the beginning.

I don’t at all sense that David is interested in Cormac’s money. He’s rich, that’s a fact, but I don’t think David is anymore interested in the money than Richard is. They both love the man (I n different ways) and the money is just a fact of who he is and how he lives. It is odd that David spend so much time with Cormac and leaves Aiden with a babysitter ever day. As an excellent father (which I assume David is), you’d imagine he’d have insisted more interaction with his son before he got deeply connected to Cormac - especially since Aiden seems to really like Cormac even when he’s not been very friendly to him. And what happened to Charlie - how is that violent criminal not in jail?

Anon 7 years ago,

Way to be extremely jaded, calm those weird assumptions a bit, would you?
