I've always wondered about the cuckold fantasy. Is it a fetish?

No it actually isn't, it IS however the sign of a mind that has some issues, whether its self esteem, sometimes latent homosexual desires...there are numerous things it could be, but a kink or fetish? No. This mental health issue some times, and too often encompasses raising other mens kids.....there is no bigger sign of mental issues than bringing an innocent child into this world in a situation such as this.

While I cannot in any way empathise with Richard, I do enjoy the Beth series, so I'm reading this one, too.

Although this is well-written (5*), I feel you're having some difficulty in getting into Richard's head, too. I can understand you wanting to give it a shot, as in your author's note at the start, but it's clearly more difficult than imagining the perfect female sub. Kudos for trying; best of luck.
