Outstanding!

The church attempting to slay the old gods. Not just a fairy tale. Many an old church is built upon the bones of the "converted heathens" temples. Thank you for sharing your talent.

Excellent.

My only niggle is Clotho's white wedding gown. White was more associated with death as it is the colour of ash representing purification by burning. White for pure brides is I think a Victorian innovation and before that colourful was the order of the day, usually involving expensive dyes. Rich folks would have lavish silver and gold brocades, poor folk tended toward reds and greens for fertility(Holly and the ivy).

Five star story

To be honest I am not sure that I understand the ending, but the story is indeed excellent. Well done.

Ending explained.

Again, I'd like to thank everyone for their kind words. If anyone is confused by the ending i'll give a quick run down of my thoughts. I am a huge fan of mythology and storytelling in general. I took two Greek myths and wove them together. One was the tale of the Minotaur and the other is the Three Fates. In this story our protagonist is a direct descendant of the white bull or Minotaur of legend. Clotho is the youngest of the three Fates. The Fates represent the three stages of life, a child or innocent, a wife or mother, and finally the wise or crone. To survive the ages the fates have created a self-sustaining cycle. When Clotho gave birth she took the place of her older sister who in turn replaced Atropos the Crone. When the daughter took her first breath the current Atropos took her last and passed it onto Vasilios. She had to die to make way for the next. I hope this helps.
