And, I think I'm done. I didn't even get through the first page of this chapter. I just don't understand the direction the story is going in. It used to be about fighting though hardship but still finding intimacy with the close loves. Now it's just page after page of derisive, humiliation, and cruelty. All the fun is gone and we're not even getting interesting sex out of it
