Ok, so Xan being a woman wasn't that difficult to anticipate, but mostly because you tend to introduce the Brethren's mates in the very first scene of each story :)

I'm hoping this is the part where you revive Nadia; you ARE planning to bring her back somehow, right?

Omg. Lmao. I thought something was up in the first chapter because you hadn't introduced the mate but you fooled me. I thought it was someone maybe a sister of xans or I don't know. Very good like the surprise a lot. Can't wait for the next chapter.

I'll still read anyway (I've loved the previous installments) and I am very happy with what I've read of this so far. Liam's badass, Xan's badass and there's a cute child in the mix. Can't get better than that, but THEN they're involved with demons. Fucking greatness:))

It was pretty obvious that "she" was a "she" since the writer NEVER used anything but her name or the word "the" to describe her. Come one guys, I noticed that in the first chapter! Love this series btw
