She tossed the bag that had my books in it at me, picked up the bag from the craft store in one hand, grabbed my hand with her other hand and dragged me out into the store.
The manager was standing at the register and glanced over at us as we burst through the door headed for the exit.
"Need some time off!" the girl called out between breaths as we walked quickly out. "Heading out to the farm!" (Breath) "You were right!" (Breath) "That's exactly what I needed!" (Breath) "Thanks, Mom!"
