In the most ironic of ironies, I am now in charge of a small staff of janitorial workers. We travel from Convenience store to Convenience store, doing hands on, down and dirty, "deep cleaning", at each location.
As I got up, hoisting a bag of cleaning paraphernalia over my shoulder, I let out a groan as my sore muscles protested the effort.
Terri grabbed the check saying, "Well, at least you get to see the beautiful sunrise."
I thought back to my idle days of sleeping in, while Richard headed off to work and felt the pang of longing for Richard and those lazy times.
"Terri, believe me, there is no sunrise so beautiful it is worth waking up that early to see."

Anonymous2 days agoThe person responsible for managing an inter vivos trust, such as the described in this story, is not an executor, but a trustee. An executor manages the terms of a person's last will and testament.

Anonymous3 months agoThat was one of the ugliest plots I have read in a long time! There was no good quality in any character! The revenge was uglier than the infidelity. At least in her mind she was doing something for her children. I cannot imagine that family ever having done, 0,doing something nice for her. Yuk!!

jflinders5 months agoI enjoyed the story and gave it 5 stars (it was worth it for one zingers alone) but
1. Joanne should have simply been called a Trustee as she was not appointed by will;
2. All of the couple's assets couldn't have been put into the trust without the knowledge of and appointment by both of them as owners of the property, short of fraud on someone's part.

Thr audio.kf her call to Terri about how thr Admissions guy was a stud and hie much better the sex, instantly killed all feelings Richard had for her. How could it not? Loved the kids. The trainwrecks statement was amazing.
