Who are these people?

Maybe I missed something, but who are these people? We know they all like to fuck but what is their relationship to each other? We know that Mary lives in Boston with her daughter and that some guy and a chick named Debbie live in New Jersey.....that's about it. Would be nice to have a little more back story.
