I like the story so far but it is way too slow… 25 chapters and Carter still is too cowardly to start rescuing his best friend…. I sincerely hope this story is ending soon, there just happens too little in each chapter to holding the readers interest.

So please get on with it!

This story is NOT too slow. It’s great. I am enjoying each chapter immensely. This writer’s humor is on point. Alex’s snitty rundown of the things Carter changed in his life was a riot. Looking forward to how it ends.

Perfect pacing as far as I'm concerned and I'm not a patient reader... Just paying attention to all the "Chekov's rifles on the walls" is fun to me. Of course binge reading a completed series helps too. 😋 If you have ADHD that's a good strategy.
