I loved this story. Although done in third person it is as if the person speaks from first hand experience. I found it a little slow in the beginning and yet, the story gives you a sense of the girl herself and not just a person. This is someone who's work I will be watching for, in the future. I dabble in writting myself and wish I could do as good a job at expressing myself as Autoerotism has done here. She currently has three stories posted and as soon as I send this, I'll be reading the other two.

Your story was fantastic. I have read many stories from this site and many others, but very few have that intangible quality of being, compelling. I would even go so far as to liken your work to "The Last Picture Show". So many writers miss the point of actually having real characters. My only real consern is that it is somewhat short. I would love to see you turn this into a novella or at the very least a series of related short stories. Regardless of how you proceed I would like you to know that I believe you have written a wonderful short story, and I would encourage you to keep writing.
