A story based on reality is held distant from the world of fiction where the author can manipulate events to create a pleasing result. What was of greater import? The attainment of intercourse or the loss of a friendship, a loss that tragically could never be restored.

there's an obvious typo towards the end of story

"years" should be "tears"

A tragic story.

Deeply ironic. Losing a friend that you love over random sex with the woman he happened to love. This felt more like part of a fiction novel than erotica. and that is not a bad thing :) keep writing.
