While I love the authors writing style, the general premise of the story itself, and how quickly things turned sexual, as I read this story I couldn’t help but picture these two characters as being anything other than poor, toothless, hillbilly white trash. Maybe you could make future characters seem more normal (ie middle class)...which would make their special relationship even more believable and enjoyable.
