What a wonderful flurry of stories you have just shared. Thanks.
Too much smothering for my taste.
I had not previously met "revision" used to mean "review". A quick search found listings for it, but I'm assuming that it's chiefly British. (And the listings all said things about studying as for an exam; not sure whether they'd include a mere review of material from the previous class, for benefit of the newcomers.)
I have to disagree with UltimateHomeBody's comment, at least somewhat. I don't look at tags before deciding to read a story (and I'm not sure how I would do so); but it seems quite a few authors use things like characters' names as tags. I presume that's to help someone who wants to find the story again but can't remember enough details, and probably some people remember characters' names. <shrug>
Once upon a long time ago, I could decoke an E93A in less than an hour on a Saturday morning - it was fitted to my Ford Rochdale Special... (with an MG J Gearbox!
In this story, Ogg gets to stretch out a little. What a pleasant excursion for the reader.
THANKS
Great story, mostly accurate (No Velcro at this time for one), as a Brit “I got it”, loved the car detail, plus evening classes were far more popular then compared to now which adds to the authenticity for me. Thoroughly enjoyed it! 5*
Sorry, Anon. Velcro was invented in 1941 and patented in 1955, By the early 1960s it was available in the UK.
Good story overall. Not crazy about her desire to be tying, smothering and blinding him, but to each his own I guess
