I think the depiction of the main caracature is very strange. Seems to be a narative of all the big words you know in an attempt to make the reader feel ignorant.

All hail the New Flesh! Either that or this is a lost Sprawl story by William Gibson. "Genesis of Chrome" or something like that. In any case, great to capture the death of any genuine feeling in modern life....as we become creatures entirely dedicated whatever gets us what we crave w/o consequence.

A bit dystopian but nicely rendered. Bravo!
