ran 4.5 chapters too long, and each paragraph progressively worse to the eventual, belated, stunningly bad conclusion

Started out amazing with chapter one and went down from there. Personally I think it would have been best to stop at four.

Everything else I've read from this writer has been outstanding. With the exception of ooccasional typos he often reads as a professional. There was a continuity issue in this one too that was distracting. To me forgetting the mother's name gives the iimpression the writer had lost his connection to the story before finishing it.

Obviously just my two cents worth. I do seriously hope you continue with the other great stories.

Alex's mother was called June in previous chapters, but is Ruth in this chapter.

I love this story. Good job.
