Love your story. Can't wait for more. Didn't expect all the girl/girl in the beginning but it was still very good. One comment -- you make a couple comments about Klingons and BORG. IMHO too far off time wise unless you have some way to figure them in some how. Keep it up.

Like II said in the intro/preface, I took the liberty of updating the time frame, so this story happens in the present day. I think it falls under suspension of disbelief. You're going to see current technology too, just giving you fair warning...

Most of the science/ geek types I know are Trekkie's, so it seemed to fit.
