I had a very similar experience when I was 19 in the late 80s.

Just ran across the anonymous comment about VCRs and shaved pussy. For his edification, I've seen and shaved many pussies long before VCRs were invented and as far as the popularity of porn is concerned, that started when Adam and Eve got booted out of the Garden of Eden.
