A charming story and probably ever senior's secret fantasy. But the course of true love never runs this smooth.
Bravo!
As one of those old farts, I am flaming green with jealousy at such a beautiful pairing.
This is a beautifully told story. I had tears at the end, and had a bad (actually good) case of warm fuzzies.
Thanks for the story.
And I will always hate shit like this:
"I also felt aroused thinking about you with someone else".
By the time I got to page 2 I already knew this story was going to be to short, I just wanted it to go on for ever. Being in love the way the two of them were makes me green with envy, if only that was me. Keep up the great work.
Thank you.
Peter.
A good read and well worth a five. I liked it allot and found myself going over a sentence more than once. An extremely good and well written story.
Thank you for posting it.
Really liked your story. The warmth, kindness and love came through and occasionally brought tears to my eyes.
More writing please.
Thanks for a well written story, about a May December relationship, well worth five stars. A really good read.
A great story, very well written and nothing to criticize, what more could you ask for?
I enjoyed your story very much. As one who can relate to these feelings; I do applaud your ability capture them in a very sexy story.
A very sexy story that doesn't sound phony or silly.About time,
More please . . . Very well written.
You have expressed all the emotions that a 60 something man would have for a 19yo woman. I, as a 60 something man, have the same feelings for a younger woman but that is only a 25 year difference.
Thanks for writing and posting this story. I loved it!
Very well written. I love the well formulated build-up, as well as the detailed encounters. Not that it means much (especially coming from an anonymous poster) but you're one of my new favorite authors. BZ
And read another great story from one of, if not THE best writer on Literotica..
Another one that deserves 10 stars...
that there's some hope for the future of the human race. A very well written story that's even more poignant because it's true! What a special relationship, and what a truly remarkable couple!
What a wonderful story and wonderfully written. The build up of the characters and emotions kept me hooked to the story all the way through. I read this story about a month ago and I came back and read it again and enjoyed it more the second time around. Proves how good it really is.
Thx
jd
What a delicious sweet story. Loved it with tears of joy in my eyes for at least half of the read. Well done. J
This is the farthest thing from a "stroke" story. The tears are just now drying on my cheeks, and while I'm an old fool, I'm not a sentimental old fool. Thank you for a magnificent slice of life. Would that the real world was as you depict!
Thank you for a wonderful story,I don,t know if it is allowed but I posted the indian story on my facebook for a friend who is going through a terrible time in her life in the hope the message it contains will ease her pain. Jay
... maybe the fifth time I've read this story, and I love it every time. Among all the dreck I re-read the keepers. This is a keeper. Thanks for a great story!

What a truly sweet and romantic story. And, I learned a new word; quim. Or maybe it is an old word? New to me. Thank you for your beautiful story.
Great job telling the story. Looking forward to more like this.
Us old guys gotta stick to our routines and ogling the young girls is priority one......LOL
life is full of them some good===some not===and once in a while are beneficial to the receptients. TK U MLJ LV NV
*starts clapping furiously with tears in his eyes*
Beautifull. And It's even true? Absolutely beautifull. I never was into romance, but this is a wide new world. A definite 1st place in my Romance top 10 list. :)

in answer to your question, whether or not they had children of their own,
may I draw your attention to the comments at the closing:
"Elise and I find having a stepmother who is eleven years younger than we are a bit strange, but even stranger is that I have a half-sister who is thirty-five years younger, and younger than one of Dad's grandchildren by a year."
ergo, his daughters now have a half sister, same father, different mother.
yes, he and his new wife have a child, a daughter, their half-sister.
I may have to go sit on a bench at the bottom of the escalator in front of J.C. Penny. myself. .
OMG, you made me tear up. I am a 57 year old, incurable romantic and you have blessed my heart with your story. This was very well written and put together. Good job and kudos to you and your family.
This author has missed their calling by not writing more romance stories.
I don't believe it's true (who edits a story about their father's sex life with explicit language about his "tool"? Ewwww) but it's very sweet.
Relationships like this do exist and for a myriad of reasons they thrive. The credibility of this one is as clear as the honesty between two people can be.
Just ask any marriage counsellor.
It's a beautiful story, but im confused on the reality of the story.
Buy yes, a very good read. 5*
What a great story only love and respect and only a bad guy(girl)by ommision. We loved it.
I loved this story with all of my curmudgeonly heart. Thank you!
This is simply one of the best stories on this (and a few other) sites.
Makes me wish the rating system had more stars.
it was beautifully written and drew you into their relationship. Very, Very well written. Congratulations.
It would be nice if families would react like this to such a relationship, but it would never happen. Seeing a young girl with their mothers engagement ring and her clothing as well? Call me a cynic but normal humans would lose their shit. The couple would be isolated by the family and friends that knew his wife before she died.
Like those couples you see at the mall with a 50+ year old man with his 20 year old phillipina wife. Objects of pity and disgust.
It is a really wonderful story.
Incredibly detailed, with rich personalities.
Bravo
My "colly" was only 9 years younger, but many of the feelings and emotions were EXACTLY the same. The fears, the nervousness, the hesitations, all followed with great confirmation of true love. She is the only woman I have ever truly loved. I understand how these two feel and glad they enjoy one another while they can. My situation is complicated, and yes many of you know what that means. We did not end up together but I know I will love her every moment of every day for the rest of my life. I just hope she has good memories of the years we had together and that she knows that I truly did and do love her with my whole heart. I miss her everyday. Every moment. I will always love you Heather.
A great fantasy resulting in a very entertaining and enjoyable tale.
I have no suggestions. I have only congratulations for such a beautiful story. 5*
I thought I had commented when I first read this and I guess I didn't - bad me. It is a wonderful story that I thoroughly enjoyed reading again!
this story made me laugh, and cry. Just wonderful, wonderful. Thank you.
A romance that transcends the age difference.
I'm glad she finally turned 21, I was worried for a while, even after more than a year and at least one birthday, she was still 19 lol
It gives an old fart like me hope. Not that I'm looking, but one never knows.
Talked a bit too much about that 'spiritual connection' felt repetitive and a tad silly, especially in the beginning where he hardly knew her.
Most of all it felt like an excuse, and a way to rationalize for such an old man to be with such a young one, and not feel like a pig.
It is what it is. May as well call it that. If you're not experiencing a spiritual connection with someone then part of you is lonely. You can detect that connection at first sight, and then build trust enough to let that spiritual (oh dear I used the word again) connection grow out into other aspects of the human condition. Be brave. Dare to let someone in.
A lovely story that was surprisingly believable. Yes there was a huge age gap, but he clearly filled a number of missing areas in her life: a father figure, stability, security, encouragement, and most of all love.
I loved this well written story. As an older guy, I can only dream a situation like this happening. As good a romantic story as any I have read before.
Evocative writing that had me choking back tears at least a half-dozen times. I rediscover the tale every couple of years or so, and each time I re-read it I am moved with no less emotion than my original read. Excellent. =DL=
I loved it. If I keep reading stories like this I'll have to start buying Kleenex by the case to keep my eyes dry and my nose blown. You wrote a beautiful story.
Chuck Close
awesome description of a rare and successful confluence of unlikely circumstances ... I am in a similar situation in life, but without, as yet in any case, the mutual acceptance that making such a permanent commitment could be successful and satisfying for each partner ... this story well-describes the emotions and feelings both of us feel ... while the ending for us may not be the same as for the characters here, it really describes the gamut of feelings we are experiencing ...well done!
A wonderful story with humor, fear, karma and family. Author, thank you.
The end made it that much sweeter - I'm totally happy that your dad found love again. Who says love is a one time deal? And did I read that correctly? They had a daughter? xoxo
I am blissfully partnered, but were I ever to find myself alone, this 60-something would hope that a Colly would happen along. Beautiful story. Hope they’re still happy. 5 stars.
(2/9/2022) I loved every bit of this wonderful read, especially the meeting of the daughters and their new stepmother. Too often I find that an author misses a great opportunity for some added drama/conflict. There’s nothing missed here, IMO. Five stars. The author hasn't posted any new stories since 2013. I hope he is well and still receiving these comments.
Interesting and very entertaining romance story. Stretches the May-December relationship boundaries some 🥴 but still a good story told well. I like the opening indicating that this is my father’s story. Character development is superbly done. I enjoyed their back and forth as they felt each other out with their own insecurities.
The meet the family confrontation was hilarious and ever so realistic. Great job.
Plan to read more of your stories Thanks for sharing your creativity. John
My eyes are all "moist". Stil keep thinking about the "2 Wolves" inside of each of us(page 1 or 2) Great that his kids immediately approved.
A bit predictable, but well told.
Especially the worries, the inner struggles of the two protagonists, the author has worked out well and found the right words to describe them. I really like that!
Chapeau !
5/5 stars!
