> if you.....object to my views, don't whine to me about it. I couldn't care less.

Did you become a "Constitutional conservative libertarian" holding this viewpoint, or did you arrive at it thru reading, debate, discussion, and the distillation of ideas honed thru a frank exchange of views? If the later, once you became a "Constitutional conservative libertarian", that made it ok to shut your mind off to new or different ideas?

loved it... hated it

I love your story line, characters, plot etc. But i always hate to see the last page end. Your political views bother me not a bit. Many other authors have a distinct socialist slant but nobody is criticising them for it. I think a story on an erotic web site should be read for the story and the erotic . period. the author has a right to his point of view and how he got there is not any bodies business.

i have read this whole series. since the beginning. and have eagerly awaited each new chapter..

anonymous just cause i haven't made an account . i read onmy phone. and make comments on it also. hence the horrid punctuation. and possible autocorrect atrocities .

as always you knocked it out the park

A hit like always. On the personal side i do hope you are doing better and on the mend, and thank you for thinking of your group of readers.

To the people that dont like your political views.open your eyes the man know what he is talking about.

"Closed mind"?

If you mean I don't agree with people who think the world owes them a living, yes, my mind is closed.

If you mean I strongly disagree with people who think they can dictate how, when, and whether I can defend the lives and liberty of myself, family, and friends.... yes, my mind is closed.

If you mean I disagree with people who think of my wallet and paychecks as their personal piggybanks, yes, my mind is closed.

If you mean I refuse to accept someone telling myself and my girlfriend who we can have as friends, and what we can do with those friends, yes, my mind is closed.

And finally, if you mean that yes, I believe taxes are too high, and government has no business telling me how I can spend it, while they waste ten bucks for every dollar they collect, yes, my mind is ABSOLUTELY closed.

Does that answer your question?

closed mind continued

....or did you read Ayn Rand when you were 14, formed your views at that time, and avoided any argument that would require you to listen to other views ever since then? Do you live in the northern US? If so, do you think municipal snow plows are socialist?

racist

The racism is SOOOO evident! Since your last chapter, you've learned there was an Arab community in the Detroit area, and your racist imagination takes over from there. Don't let facts like it's a peaceful hardworking community get in the way....your solution to absolutely no evidence of this community supporting violence? Sleeper cells! Of course!

The US President takes a very small step towards normalizing relations with Cuba...your response? Ramp up imaginary Cuban occupiers!

Like a good Fox News listener, why let reality get in your way?

OK, I know

I promised to start deleting these morons out of hand, but these need addressing.

'Racist'? First, you apparently didn't bother to read the first 5 or 6 chapters....

Second, 'Muslim' is a cult, not a race, dimwit.

Third, I LIVE in the S.E.Michigan area. I was driving through the Dearborn area on the day now known nationwide as 9/11.... I SAW the Muslim pukes run out of their gas stations and party stores, literally dancing in the streets in celebration when four jetliners were hijacked and used as cruise missiles. And I've seen those same Muslim losers telling the leadership in Dearborn that "Sharia law is above any state or federal law here in the United States." That, by the way, is a direct quote from a Muslim 'rights' group.

Sit the fuck down, shut the fuck up, and don't bother me with anymore of your whiny liberal drivel.

As for the other 'anonymous'... I see all you have is insults. Not one word refuting a word I've said. Quit swimming in that MSNBC Kool-aid, little boy.... it'll stain your skin something awful.

Destroying an entire fleet of perfectly adequate ground attack jets-- the A-10 'Warthog', to be specific--in favor of a bunch of untried, unreliable, 100million dollar apiece aircraft that they have trouble even keeping in the air (the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter) is unforgivable, to say the least..

Taking billions of dollars in taxes to build roads that literally go NOWHERE is unforgivable.

And your hero, Nancy Pelosi, standing on the floor of the senate, saying "Gas prices are going down.... this is the perfect time to tack on another 10 or 12 cents per gallon tax!" is a slap in the face to everybody who's ever looked at a 300.00 paycheck and wondered how the hell they're supposed to pay 550.00 in bills.... while ol' Nancy is driven around in taxpayer funded limos, helping herself to oysters Rockefeller and sirloin steak and fresh Maine lobster at our expense while looking for more ways to spend OUR money.

But, of course, you're too busy insulting people who've lived under such regimes, and had to come here to be allowed to write about their personal experiences, and what they learned. You're too busy insulting people who started at the bottom and earned their way, every step.

You're too busy spewing lies you've been brainwashed with, whenever you're confronted with the truth.

Go crack an older, non politically correct history book... one that hasn't been 'revised' 6879395179 times by pinheaded liberal communist 'professors' and look up the five words this country was founded upon--Mind your own fucking business!"

Muslim is a cult not a race

The people forget that in the Coran isn't write to kill the nonbelievers, in this case the non-muslims . The killing is made by the fundamentalist part, heck they fight even between them , par example the sunit and siit parts .

And the political part , none is better , all look after himself , like my father told me once : when you bend your arm , what direction is easier ? in your direction or in outside ? . That is the creed for politicians .

I like your story, keep going Dan .

Keep it up

Some people have not come to understand the laughable state of our country and the downright hilarious state of the world at large. I hope u don't let their comments phase you, although they raise my blood pressure a fair bit.

Racisim?

After reading all of this storyline again, I cannot see where the racism comments are coming from.

First, I see a 'religion' (muslim) being used on a way that MAY be seen by those who think they are above everything might find offensive I see 2 separate nationalities and one regional nationality bring used at 'the bad guys' I then look outside my window at the real world and see those same groups being the bad guys in our news, in the news of many other countries, and in the eyes of their own groups!

To those taking offense to these stories... Stop reading them if they offend you.

I live in Michigan and grew up in Wyoming. I can see this story unfolding exactly as disableddan has written it. Why don't you go out to Wyoming where the US government tries to take away the guns, and other rights and see how you fare. You won't be returning if you try. People there take their constitution very seriously the shoul, it is required reading in 4th grade history, and again in 9th great civics. It is also on the test required for graduation from public school.

Folks, I'm hard at work....

On the next chapter, in between endless Doc appointments and mercifully short hospital stays. They won't let me use a laptop there, claim it interferes with heart monitors and other electronic debris, so I lose that time.

Yes, I'll be continuing to track the new groups I've introduced, and will be adding a few more, while jumping back to some of the older characters from time to time... I'll do my best to maintain the level of quality you've come to expect, and that I expect from myself. I hope you'll bear with me.

An apology...

I know, folks, It's taking a bit longer every time I start work on a new chapter. Part of this has to do with poor health issues, and part with a severe case of writer's block. I'm trying to keep things fresh, and not fall into a redundant rut. Several of the new groups I'm introducing are facing unique problems of their own, and I don't want them copycatting the tactics and strategies of those who've gone before them. Keeping these things varied isn't as easy as it might seem.

I will be posting something new soon, but how soon is difficult to say.

Update

CH 21 has been submitted and is awaiting approval, folks, so stay tuned. I've had some problems here, of the computer variety, among other things, and I am sorry for the long delay. I've already started work on the next chapter, and hope to have it out in a few weeks, barring any unforeseen circumstances.

@Anonymous.... that thought has, indeed, occurred, I've got a different idea that I'm bouncing around, in order to avoid many of the mistakes that would be inherent in a bunch of landlocked Midwesterners attempting to operate Naval vessels. (could you see these guys turned loose on an aircraft carrier?!?) I know you're referring to smaller patrol boats, but somehow, I just can't see them prevailing against a professional navy. I do have a coherent ending in mind, but that won't be happening just yet.
