But choosing the category shouldn't be so tough. This category is called LOVING wives. There is no loving in this story. Wife is waiting for something to end the marriage. He isn't a husband even before the pictures show up. Now the "marriage" is about using. This story is in the wrong category.

Half way through it, when she said she couldn't tell what he was thinking, I have suspected it would turn out that the afternoon with Steve had really been his idea and he got her two friends to go along with it. Outside of that instance, there is not one moment of thought present in this mess.

Not what I expected from the title. It seems to me the couple never talks anymore and were going thru the motions of a marriage. Both have issues that are not brought up to the other and sex is appearently not satisfying for them together and the man uses the incident to assert himself in the relationship.

I do agree that Loving Wives might not be the best category for this, perhaps Nonconsent Reluctance.

To the Author, I noted you are listed as female and 18. Do not listen to the people calling bad things at your writing. It takes a lot of courage to post your first story online. Writing should always be for your own indulgance and what and how you write should be dictated by that drive and not by those who read it with only 1 hand on the desk. Dawn: You certainly didn't paint a very pretty picture, but I think you wrote a helluva story. Your dialogue was crisp and realistic. It would seem that most of the negative comments regarded the theme of your story, not its presentation. Yeah, none of us "small-dicked pud-pounding guys" would like a wife like that, but as stories go, you've done remarkably well for a first submission. Please continue to write. your story is good, until you get to the part where the husband takes her ( effectively rape ) and wants to stay with her. He knows she had unprotected sex, and could have either STD's or AIDS, so why would he have sex with her and risk his health? If the marriage is that poor, then the evidence of the cheating would make this a slam dunk for divorce. He can't trust her, nor respect her - both required in a marriage. It would have made more sense for him to immeadiately contact a lawyer for a divorce, get a restraining order for her to not to bother him at work or his place of business, change the locks on the house, cancel all the joint credit cards, and transfer all the bank accounts into new accounts in his name only. He should drop kick this woman to the curb, with only her clothes ( the jewerly should be considered part of the marital assets, and she should have to fight for them).

Constructively -- A talented first effort but a very poor choice in conclusion and theme. Abusing a woman and a sick self cuckolding husband. Lots of erotisism and sensuality lacking there.

Ok, I would like to add my interpretation: They had problems. I agree with the critics that observe that there was no love, or at least they had come to take each other for granted. Also, sex cannot restore a relationship. Forgiveness, respect and understanding are essential if the marriage is to be restored. However, Dawn's theme is a good one. The outrageous sex allowed a breakthrough. They are finally communicating, howbeit at a pretty basic level. Also, it is significant that the husband was able to understand one of her unexpressed but deep needs and, rather than rejecting her for it, he tried to give her what she needed. Granted the sex alone will not "save" the marriage but that's not the point of the story. The theme is that it opened a door. Now, Dawn, tell us what happened to them afterward.

And the minute he went back to work, she was packed and out the door. He'll get the divorce papers in the mail. Say Adios!

Given the nature of their relationship at that point I think she simply looks at the pictures and then looks at him with a "why do you care" attitude. And when he starts to question her, I think she turns the computer back on and goes to work. He touches her and she calls the police and he's off to jail and the divorce is on - in her favor.
