The exchanges between the characters were wonderful; you really nailed Jenny (wouldn't we all like to ;) and her use of words appropriate to both the year, her upbringing and the character.

It's such a great piece. I fell over the original because of Jenny and Vastra. I read this because the original piece was so good and this doesn't fail to keep the same high standards. If anything, I'd say the characterisations are even better in this one.

Also, of course, the humour. Lovely addition to a story and so hard to get right without messing with the timing.
