I finally finished the story of Adam and Dominique, as I truly think it is as such his journey as hers. To be frank I felt let down by the almost 'caricature' aspects you put to Dominiques' character at the point where you wanted to justify Adams' punishment/final domination of her - but the last few chapters redeemed the story!

I didn't think I'd care for this one much, but after the first few chapters, it grew on Me. Great work!

The only "negative" comment I have, and it's a matter of personal taste, is the "W/we U/us" convention. I feel it would have been more appropriate to confine that to dominique's narrative, and drop it for Andrew's, only captializing "Me, My, Master," etc. Having a _Dominant_ writing "W/we, O/our" etc. just rubs Me the wrong way. But as I said, that might be just Me. ::grin::

For anyone who enjoyed this, please read "Culture Shock". Be prepared for a _long_ read, as in several hours (!) but VERY much worth the journey! (And if you are new to the lifestyle, take notes! ::smile::)

...a story that put me into subspace. Your words, from the viewpoints of Andrew and dominique, made me feel as if I was there and experiencing what dominique was experiencing. It brought me back to the time I first ventured into BDSM. It has also made me reflect on my own reasons for submission and how to better please a Master in the future.

Your story has enthralled a lot of people, I wish I was one of them. It’s detailed and well put together even though I think the capitalisation of letters and plurals don’t work in a written format Andrew and dominique, W/we, O/our they’re messy and it looks silly. From my perspective Andrew came across as arrogant, uncommunicative and abusive and Dominique was (realistically) neurotic and bratty.

In this final chapter he finally starts to show some humanity IMHO too little to late. There were never any clear boundaries and a ratio of 5% communication to 95% mind games. He should have been talking to her and guiding her throughout but he didn’t hopefully in real life the woman would’ve walked away and found a Dom who communicates and one that respected her submission.

Did anyone notice that at the end of the ‘punishment scene’ that she was left leaning like a sack of shit against the post whilst he cleaned and cared for his toys? It’s a pity he didn’t care as much for the fucktoy he was trying to break.

Wonderful story, turned out to be a love story. I lost my love, and have been wondering if I'll find love again.
