This isn't based on MGE specifically, but is rather a mashup of a number of different monster girl games. The nature of the fights comes from the "battlefucking" concept used by too many games to list, the hold mechanic is a renamed version of the bind mechanic from Monster Girl Quest, the Lust meter is a hybrid of TP from Monster Girl Labyrinth and Lust from Lust Grimm, etc.

That said, I'll probably end up drawing from MGE in some manner, as it's just that convenient a source.

I’m getting a Never Ending Story vibe, which can only be a good thing. I’d always figured that, when (spoiler!) William Shakespeare did his sojourn in Fantasia in NES’s backstory, he spent a great deal of time fucking his brains out with the cast of Midsummer’s.

Anyway, I’m a monster girl fan of old, from before the monster girl genre solidified thanks to the MGE. I’ve never played eroge, but I can feel the appeal, as it were. You did an amazing job of describing the game, giving even someone like me, who has never seriously played a turn-based JRPG, a very vivid understanding of the DiP game.

Normally, I would recommend far less detail on the game mechanics than you provided, because, like all the exposition on the whaling industry in Moby Dick, it risks alienating a general audience. But recent years have seen the development of the RPG fiction genre, of which I am almost entirely ignorant (I’m an oldfag). Moreover, battlefucking will be a key story element even if Our Hero gets drawn into the world of the game. So I think it makes perfect sense here.

Very interesting start, a bit too much exposition thrown at the read for my taste but understandable at the same time. I've read a few stories on here and some self published that dealt with fully VR game worlds where the player goes into the game. But nothing like what you've thought of. It'll be interesting where you take it going forward.

For my stories I tried to come up with a fantasy (non game) type of battlefucking as you put it. I did it were the main villain is a succubus remaking the world in her imagine so everyone fights with sex in a way. I like how you've explained that you wanted to do the same thing but less rapey, I still need to work on my translation of it like that. Always tried to make it feel like the main character was giving in to their lust one way or another but I still get those few people sending hate mail screaming rape
