Author's Note:

A Drow's Dilemma began as a one-on-one roleplaying project and has been converted into a chapter-by-chapter format for weekly posting with the permission and assistance from my partner. It will contain a considerable amount of sexual themes such as femdom, lesbian, straight, 'reverse' rape, BDSM, group sex, romance, and other themes. The main goal of the story, however, is to tell an epic tale of adventures, gods and goddesses, fae, and nymphomaniacs. This episode and every episode to come will be available for free on Literotica for the foreseeable future. All characters that engage in sexual or suggestive situations are mentally and sexually mature: the human equivalent of 18 for their race.

Green Dragon

"Why are you testing us like this?!" Selene demanded.

"You seem angry! It's been a good time so far!" Ashyr said cheerfully as she landed next to her cousin.

With Althaia taking her place alongside the rest, the five Duskhavens were back together as a unit. Caleldir was still holding Carlotta, though.

The green dragon looked over the group, grinning evilly. "Your ancestor destroyed my underground forest while I was meditating!" she stated. "Duskhaven Cavern, you called it? It was my cavern, not yours! I created a forest underground to live in, and you damn drow came in and chopped it all down while I was indisposed. So, I decided to destroy Duskhaven in revenge. But just killing everyone is dull, so I manipulated you into killing yourselves. Those idiot brothers of yours were only too happy to rebel once I put the idea into their heads."

Selene went into frustrated spluttering, unable to reply. Ashyr, however, seemed to be trying to hold in a laugh. Selene looked to her cousin in wide-eyed incredulation.

"That worked well for you didn't it? Abyss, I shouldn't find this funny," Ashyr admitted.

"I think Ashyr is still giddy from her recent transformation," Aster apologized to the group as a whole.

"I underestimated their idiocy, in the end," Varynae said wistfully. "They ended up destroying the whole cavern by dealing with some demon god. With the cavern destroyed anyway, I decided to finally resolve the grudge. If you were worthy, I would let you live. And, you are worthy to live! Now I want to see which of us is worthy to rule the other. Will my vengeance on Duskhaven be complete when I enslave you? Or will you tame me to punish me for all that I have done to you?"

Varynae spread her arms wide, facing into the sky with a sharp-toothed grin on her face. She opened her much-too-large draconic eyes and fixed the group with her manic gaze. "An exhilarating question! Ah! It is in moments like this - where everything comes down to a single, climactic fight of who shall dominate whom - that I remember how much I truly love being a dragon! Death, pain, struggle, domination, desire, vengeance: all are wonderful tools that will lead me to even greater Perfection!"

"Bring it! We need to put you in your place for what you did to my family!" Ashyr exclaimed with excitement.

Selene appeared far more baleful than her cousin. Her eyes began to glow with fury, waiting for the time to strike.

The Empress of Souls looked at Varynae with a beaming expression on her purple face. "Ah, isn't she wonderful?" the ancient succubus asked the universe. "So powerful and beautiful are my monster girls! I weep with joy to see such wonderful daughters as you three!"

"Monster girl is a very silly term," Varynae sniffed. "I am the Nymph Dragon."

Caleldir noted that the proud dragon did not protest being called 'daughter' along with Selene and Carlotta. He decided not to share this observation aloud.

"You still need to come back with me," Carlotta said softly. Despite her words, all she could do was cling to him impotently. "I can't seem to trigger the portal though..."

"Lotta, can you kindly get off of Caleldir now? I promise we'll visit you later," Ashyr told her over her shoulder.

"But I'm capturing him for Ceira! I have to bring her some sort of trophy!" Carlotta protested. She made the effort to do... something. It failed again.

"We can go catch up with your succubus girlfriend later," Caleldir said with a sigh. "For now, I would prefer you not help Varyndaevyrress fight us. So, sleep." He gave her a kiss through which he channeled a sleeping spell. With their sexual connection, his wards against her, and Caleldirs ability to punch through resistances, Carlotta had no chance to resist. She immediately fell into a deep slumber and Caleldir pulled her off of him and set her down. "Violetcrown, can you get your 'daughter' of the battleground?"

"Of course!" Vilinixia said cheerily. She aimed her staff at Carlotta. "Sorry, dear. I will free you after your nap."

"The big succubus is surprisingly helpful," Althaia observed.

"Her contract does not require her to fight for me," Varynae said impatiently. "Now that the alchemist is out of the way, that is quite enough stalling! On your guards!"

With speed that not even Ashyr expected, the dragoness darted forward, sending a punch into Althaia's gut that winded the paladin and sent her staggering backward. Caleldir leaped behind the nymph queen and caught her before she fell completely.

A sword of verdant metal appearing in her hand, Varynae attacked Ashyr next. Ashyr pulled out Yin and Yang from her soul just in time to parry the dragoness's savage blows. "Remember our last fight?" Varynae asked in Varas's voice: the masculine tones sounding odd from her distinctly female form. "You lost then, and I am leagues more powerful and less restrained now! You are no match for me, you annoying child!"

"I've improved exponentially since then, too, dragon!" Ashyr retorted with a wild grin.

[Aster, support Ashyr however you can with magic!] Caleldir ordered his familiar. [Stay out of range of Varynae unless you want me to resurrect you! The dragon knows you are the only one she can safely 'kill', and is likely to do that as soon as she can.] Caleldir repaired Althaia as best he could and leaped forward to support Ashyr armed with his own soul-summoned Titan weapons.

"I suppose it's time to pull out this again!" Selene said, gripping a black opal in her hand. Instead of looking annoyed, the dark elf eromajin seemed to be looking forward to the spell.

Selene activated her magic in a swirl of black sparked with green and blue. Her body grew and absorbed the colorful, dark energy into her skin. Where once would have stood a hulking monstrosity whose only beauty was its multicolored skin, a massive, gorgeous dark elf floated elegantly above the ground. Her breasts still bounced, her hair still flowed, but her obsidian skin sparkled blue and green in the sunlight like a gemstone from the deep. Matching opalescent psionic energy converged on her fists and feet.

The Selene golem threw herself into the fray, punching and kicking with far more power than even her hulking frame should have been capable of. The first blow that connected with Varynae took her by surprise, and the dragoness was shot right out of the fight for a moment. Varynae collected herself quickly; before she had traveled more than a few yards she righted herself with her newly sprouted wings.

"You have all grown in power," she admitted. She looked towards Aster, who had been trying to stay away and in the support role like Caleldir had ordered. "Your master can resurrect you if I kill you. So no hard feelings."

Caleldir leaped between the two of them, gripping his blades defensively. "Oh no, you don't!"

"Stop me." Using an ability similar to dimension door, Varynae flash-stepped behind Aster and decapitated her with her claws. Caleldir screamed in anger and attacked in a near berserker rage, but nothing he had could even come close to her. "Godling you may be, but a fighter you are not, librarian," Varynae said dismissively. "Go back to fucking nymphs, which is all you are really good for." She reached out and grabbed him with invisible claws. Caleldir gasped as he felt the full-size draconic digits wrap around him. "Go visit your sister in the sky."

Varynae hurled Caleldir into the stratosphere. Althaia attacked, but Varynae deflected her blade with her claws. Ashyr - choosing to believe that Caleldir would be able to sort out his situation on his own - attacked in coordination with Althaia using Yin and Yang. Warily, Varynae used her blade to parry rather than relying on any part of her body. She traded blows with the dark valkyrie and the nymph for a few moments until she used a magically-enhanced shockwave to fling them back.

Golem-Selene was too heavy to be knocked back by the pressure and, without her allies in the way to get caught in the blow, launched another massive punch. This time, Varynae expected it, catching it with her hand. The dragoness grinned broadly, and her usually closed eyes opened to their too-large size. She began to push Selene bodily back, the golem's massive feet digging trenches in the ground as the dragoness advanced.

It was an extraordinary image: a six-foot, nude, slender nymph advancing while forcing a twenty-foot tall opaloid dark-elven entity backward. "That punch would have turned a nymph to pulp," Varynae said pleasantly. "But I am a dragon, and am much, much bigger than you."

Gripping Selene's finger, Varynae lifted the entire Golem and flung her across the battlefield just as Ashyr and Althaia closed the gap again to resume their assaults on the dragoness. While Varynae fended off Ashyr and Althaia's teamwork, Selene rapidly leaped to her feet and thundered rapidly across the battlefield.

Before Selene could make the two-on-one fight three-on-one, Varynae reached out with her hand and made a grasping motion. The golem stopped cold, Selene straining against invisible bonds. This forced Varynae to continue to fight Ashyr one-handed, fending off the Yin and Yang blows which obviously concerned her. This allowed Althaia to take advantage for a brief moment. But Varynae flipped onto her back - holding herself up by her tail - and used her clawed feet to deflect and defend against Althaia's strikes.

Laughter rumbled from the Selene golem. A barrage of pure magic arched out from behind her and hurtled at Varynae with unerring accuracy.

The two of them pounded on Varynae for a few rounds where the dragon-nymph could barely do more than parry, deflect, and dodge, all the while her left hand engaged in invisibly holding back Selene. Finally, Varynae spun around while laughing madly, the speed and dexterity of her medium-sized nymph form in the middle of a swirl of destruction the size of her enormous draconic form. She breathed out, and fire and acid spewed out in a maelstrom of horrifying devastation. The Duskhavens were forced back away from her.

Panting and too-large eyes glowing with battle lust, Varynea flipped and spun on her head for no apparent reason except the thrill of it, laughing all the while. "Ah! I have not felt so good in my life! This is what it means to be both a nymph and a dragon! The perfection of grace married to the perfection of power in a perfection of harmonious union!" She launched herself into the air, where fire, acid, dust, and destruction whirled around her and formed the ghostly shape of the truly colossal dragon she was on the inside. Inside the maelstrom of death, she cast a series of spells on herself. She split into three seemingly identical copies. "You have improved, Valkyrie, but not enough!"

All three images of the dragoness darted out to attack Ashyr, Althaia, and Selene. The strength of her blows as she drove them back was absolutely terrifying. Every strike was with the weight not of her nymphen frame, but of her draconic one, with hundreds of tons of muscle and scales striking with dizzying speed. The effect was reality-bending; the ground around them cracked and rumbled from the shockwaves alone. Selene's golem self was utterly overwhelmed, being forced down into an ever-increasing crater as the land around boiled with power, the sheer heat turning the stones into lava. Althaia found herself launched across the battlefield, disappearing out of sight. Ashyr managed to avoid the hits, barely, but when the five images of the dragon merged again and she concentrated all her power on the Dark Valkyrie, the matron of Duskhaven found herself utterly outmatched.

"If I have Ceuphaera resurrect them, can I kill them?" Varynae shouted to Vilinixia.

"Only if you kill them nicely!" the Empress of Souls replied.

"What does that mean!?" Ashyr yelled desperately.

"It means no torture or drawn-out executions!" Varynae cackled. She leaped several hundred yards back away from Ashyr, surveying the field. "Selene first, I think."

Before she could dice at Selene, who was struggling to stand up, a crack rang out across the heavens. The entire continent shook, lightning streaked across the sky, and a shadow disappeared from the face of the sun.

The Divine returned.

Ashyr felt enormous power from Goddess Freyja flow into her and Selene had her Conjuration spells returned. But more than that, a bolt of purest sunlight shot across the field and struck Varynae, driving the dragoness back.

The light dimmed enough to see what was inside. It was Althaia atop her pegasus, both clad in radiant armor. Althaia leaped into the air, sprouting angelic wings as her pegasus disappeared into sparkling light. Her golden hair glowed like the sun itself. "Now I am finally myself," she said dangerously. "And ready to strike down an evil dragon."

Varynae, nay, Varyndaevyrress, wiped a bit of green blood from her mouth. "Finally! I can beat you all at your very strongest!" Another maelstrom of fire and acid erupted from her, forming into her colossal dragon form of Varyndaevyrress with Varynae the center. The dragon-nymph, getting into a proper fighting pose, gestured for them to attack, her motions matched exactly by the massive draconic aura of green flame streaked with red. "Bring it, Duskhaven. Amuse me before I kill you."

"Ha! As if you could kill us!" Ashyr boasted.

With the return of divine and conjuration magic, Duskhaven went on the offensive. Ashyr and Althaia darted through the draconic aura - avoiding several strikes from the colossal creature - and started up a furious aerial melee with Varynae at the center.

"Varyndaevyrress!" the paladin shouted. "For all your beauty and honor, you remain thoroughly evil!"

"I don't accept the slave morality enforced by your gods!" Varynae scoffed. "What use do I have for such labels as 'good' and 'evil'? There is only perfection, and the eternal quest to reach it!"

Althaia laughed, raising her sword aloft at the sun overhead. "Evil weakens you, dragon! It makes you vulnerable" As she called out to the heavens, her sword glowed even stronger with a divine golden flame. The sun grew larger in the sky, and Althaia swelled in size, her aura of beauty and authority pushing back Varynae's aura of beauty and absolute fear. "Most Beautiful Aelsuna, Loveliest of All!" Scorching rays from heaven infused the Chosen of Aelsuna, her color-changing eyes turning into portals into the nuclear fury of the sun itself. "Oh Goddess of All Nymphs, hear me under your holy sunlight and smite this false daughter!"

The nymph struck, the dragon dodging and returning the blow, which Althaia caught on her shield. A massive shockwave raged out like thunder, but the force dissipated into the nymph queen's aura, affecting her not at all. "Your goddess does not want you to kill me, Paladin!" Varynae replied with supreme confidence. "Look at me! I represent the apotheosis of her ideals! Perfection is Beauty, and Beauty is Perfection!"

"And yet, your ugly soul is rotten with foul hubris!" Althaia declared, hitting at the dragon almost as hard as Varynae herself struck. Wreathed in that holy smite, the paladin forced her foe to seriously dodge and parry. "I do not have to kill you, I have to humble your foul pride, for in humility there is redemption!"

"Humility is cowardice!" the dragon spat out. "I. Am. Perfection!"

Acid and flame roared out of the Perfection of Dragons and was met by solar fire from the Queen of Nymphs, the conjunction of energies shining brighter than the sun.

Meanwhile, watching Althaia in all her glory gave Ashyr an Idea. Shouldn't she be able to pray to someone and give herself a divine upgrade? The Valkyries never taught her such things, but the divine lock was in place while they were seriously transforming her. Infused with divine energy as she was, she'd be a fool not to try even if she wasn't sure of the results.

But to whom should she pray? Hah, Caleldir was a divine being. He seemed distracted, though. Freyja? Ashyr didn't know much about her even though she was supposedly one of her people. Eilistraee? She seemed like the best choice; she had already blessed Ashyr's household with an oracle.

[Eilistraee! Hear me! Empower me to repel this dragon who seeks to enslave Duskhaven!]

Ashyr did not hear a direct answer, but she did feel serenity flow through her, unlocking Divine magic spell-slots she did not even know she had and causing her hair to glow with moonlight. The comforting cool of the night suffused her, and the searing rays of nuclear radiation from Althaia only strengthened, while the fire and acid from the dragoness passed over her harmlessly. Ashyr threw herself back into the fight with a calmness and peace she had never felt before in her life.

"By She who's dance gives glory to the Moonlight, I Smite thee, foul dragon!" Ashyr shouted, the words reflecting off of her as if emanated from another.

Golem Selene stared into the mess of acid clouds and nuclear fire around the melee and decided to use summons and ranged magic. She started by calling her favorite summon: hellhounds. Said hellhounds appeared as massive, vicious dogs for only a moment before they shrunk in size into large ash-skinned lava-eyed women with canine features stuck on them haphazardly. The hellhounds looked at each other in confusion for a moment, before shrugging and turning to Selene for orders.

"Attack the green slut?" one of them asked eagerly.

"Rape her?" the other one asked, licking her sharp teeth.

Vilinixia clapped and cheered. "Oh magnificent news, my daughter! Everything you summon will be turned into a Monster Girl, like you! Ah! I love you more and more!"

Selene rolled her eyes. She had to admit, though; they were much more pleasing to look at than the hellhounds.

"She continues to be creepy," Caleldir whispered into Selene's ear, his voice echoing ethereally. He phased partly out of the ethereal plane, though remained almost imperceptible. "Relink our minds between our group. I have a plan."

Selene sent a pulse of acknowledgment. Caleldir slipped back fully into the ethereal plane, setting up his traps.

Boosted by a few more of Selene's spells giving them flight as well as greater attack strength and durability, the hellhounds flew up to engage with the dragoness, punching through her draconic aura before Varyndaevyrress could bat them away. Selene then began a barrage of magic missiles psionically enhanced to break through Varynae's shields.

Varynae found herself being driven to the ground. Althaia and Ashyr - working together in the harmony of the dance of the sun and the moon - were managing to trade blow for blow with the dragoness despite that creature's overwhelming strength. Two overly enthusiastic hellhounds supplemented their attacks with strikes of their own, and Selene's endless barrage of psionically piercing missiles harried her near-constantly.

"I can't win this if I continue handicapping myself!" Varynae growled. Letting out a roar, the dragoness rallied herself and held her ground for a moment. She turned to Selene, and once more flash-stepped down next to her. This time, her victim was ready, and golem-Selene batted Varynae down. But only for a moment. Varyndaevyrress abruptly grew in size to that of the Dragon herself, and bit Selene in half, the acid in her mouth melting through the opal golem with a hiss.
