I can't imagine Fleet being the same without Pixy Pfeiffer. And I'm a bit nervous about the thought of her story coming to a close. I feel like it would almost be better simply to leave it open; Pixy exploring the stars evermore.

Still, not my call, and I look forward to whatever you give us. I'm sure it'll be good.

My first foray into this series. Why start at the beginning?

Quite enjoyable - Pixy is very witty and sexy; I'll be mundane and go back to start at Chapter 1. Just in time for you to end the series :)

Please think hard before you bring this to an end. There are lots of possibilities!

Semi-physic Pixy can wheel and deal at a higher level with her assisted insight. Watch out fleet command. Is there something about semi-intellegent armor

A Korlene interacting (interfering?) with galactic affairs. What do they belive is best to happen? Are they pulling coordinated strings of the races?

An unknown motive for Colonel whom ever he really is (you know the stated reason "PR" won't be the real one...)

Are those new fangled tunnel ships really the best design, and will they evolve into organisms?

Agreed hate to think of the universe you made without Pixy. In any case, thank you andvery well done -- as always.

Not sure if someone has already said this but this story is novel worthy. Your world and character building is great, and that's what makes for not only a good story, but good smut. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about Pixy and her adventures. Thank you.

Unless you plan to kill her off, it’s hard to imagine Pixy being happy dirtside. But imagine the possibilities for Admiral Pixy and her telepathic bed warmer. I want this series to go on forever.

Another Great Pixy story. Luke to see her go a long time with her new bed warmer that knows her needs. She deserves him. Semper Fi, and five stars.

Hell no, there is still too much to be explored. What about the two species the humans are fighting? Why? What are their motivations? This story has legs, it is very well written and you should continue.

This whole series is just so damned good on every level. I love every chapter and really, really don't want it to end. You have conjured up a truly wonderful and sexy world with so much creativity - it really should be a movie.

No way to comment on Chapter 9, Invasion, so I'm posting here.

Pixy could be modeled after any number of sea captains who went into harm's way, but I cannot help but think of Ernest E. Evans, captain of the USS Johnston, part of Taffy 3 during the Battle off Samar, during the larger Battle of Leyte Gulf. During the commissioning of his ship he told the crew, "This is going to be a fighting ship. I intend to go in harm's way, and anyone who doesn't want to go along had better get off right now."

During that battle, he took his lightly-armed and lightly-armored Fletcher-class escort destroyer and (with support) attacked a Japanese battlegroup consisting of 4 battleships, 6 heavy cruisers, 2 light cruisers and 11 destroyers that was seeking to obliterate the troop carriers. The Johnston was lost, but the Japanese task force turned back and Evans was awarded a posthumous Medal of Honor.
