Ronde, you have a definite talent with words. I had passed over this story, thinking it would be one of the more typical erotic stories - i.e. rescue stranded female; motel for the night; shared bed, etc. Almost as good as Laura's Vineyard. Thanks again for writing. I appreciate it.

As the wife of a trucker I was truly impressed with this story. I know what it's like to be on the road in the truck with him and now that I can't be there I really miss it. This story made me realize how lucky some of us girls are to have a man like that. So...I think I'll close with one of my favorite sayings "Truckers Do It In The Hammer Lane"!!!!!

I drove for around 23 years, lol's (May of '92 till Feb of '15). I used to tell everybody that I was a paid tourist, I got to travel all over the U.S. & Canada, and that I got paid to do it.

I actually had something like what happened in this story happen to me. Just didn't get married to her. She rode around with me for about a year and a half before she decided that she wanted to settle down in one place and I just wasn't ready to stop driving yet, about broke my heart, but, we're actually still friends & I keep up with her every now and then through e-mail or texting... I'm retired now, living on my ranch in Oklahoma. I had spent 13.5 in the service before I started driving, bought a ranch while I was in, then kept adding to it as I had the opportunity.

It was a cute story, but there ain't 'nuthin wrong with that!

As for woman truck drivers, as I was waiting for my Missus to do her shopping, I witnessed 3-4 Eighteen Wheelers take several attempts backing in at the truck rest stop next door, along side others.

Along comes another, and it takes only one attempt. It was perfection!

After a couple minutes of sitting still, the driver's side door opens, and down climbs a woman who was, perhaps, in her late twenties.

After having driven Single and Tandem Axle dump trucks, many times with a trailer, for many years, her expertise brought the biggest smile to my face.

Well done! Both her driving, and this story, for bringing back that memory.

Just found your work, and am picking through it. I loved this one. I did something similar in my younger days, and am looking forward to getting back to it these decades later. Being an independent can be a bind, but it is still the best life there is.

An enjoyable "ride" with these two MC's. I usually like a little tension in a story, but once in a while it moves right along without it. For once this author's sex interlude didn't seem contrived and the two fit together just fine. 5*

This is the first story of yours I have read but it won't be the last!

I loved the gentle growth of their love.

I know I missed my calling, I should have been an independent OTR trucker. -NOT-

You did make the job sound glamorous. Been there and got the T-shirt. A good husband and wife team can be very productive and I knew several. Some at the beginning of their lives, and others after the kids are grown up and moved on. Still I fell in love with the whole premise of your story. 5 stars for a warm and fuzzy.

I’ve read about a half a dozen of your stories, and have yet to find one I didn’t care for. I guess that’s the same as saying I really enjoy them. What I find I really like is that there’s a story. I’m not adverse to sex in the story, but it doesn’t obliterate the story.

Lovely little romance. I appreciate how much care you give to the female character, and how much focus is on her pleasure.

Your stories would be good if there was no sex in them. With the sex they are great. Thank you for taking time to write and share them.
