Thank you for this wonderful story. The love you developed for the two characters was perfect.

It's seldom that a story deserves a 4, but this one did. Good job.

Sweet, enjoyable story, with some good sci-fi references (and one from Mel Brooks that made me laugh). 4.5* rounded up.

Yes. You make readers happy and editors unnecessary.

Loved it. Thank you.

Thank you for a wonderful story. It had me feeling sad about what happened to Sophie. And had me laughing at what Evie was telling Aaron. Wish I could give it more than just five stars.

EVIE

A model for what a Romance story can be.

Good realistic characters, so easy to love.

Barriers overcome.

Evoking strong positive emotions.

Made me wish it was novel length.

When we have had so much, a story like this makes us appreciative, and even ashamed of petty little complaints like the loss of special [people in our own lives.

What man does not want to be rescued by and Evie. What woman does not want such a man?

Nice work, and I enjoyed it. But neither of them were SF geeks.

"Like tears in the rain." We said in unison.

WRONG! No geek would miss that. It's "Like tears in rain."

Heart warming and well-written. Great backstory. Uplifting as well as romantic. And it illustrates how often a helping hand can make a huge difference. Thanks.

Perfect. Easiest 5*s I ever gave. This gets a special, “this should be a Hallmark movie” comment, too!

B, Nicely done! Its all there - well developed & likeable characters (critical & you do this consistently well), Pace was rather flawless - never bored or overwhelmed w/ drama.

'Just the basics all done well. Bravo.

I'm a tough 64 year old Army veteran, hardened by many conflicts on the battlefield and in life. And just WHY your story brought me to tears a few times while reading it I have no idea.

Keep up the good work, it's not every day a tear falls on this old face.

Fooled me on 2 parts. Could have had a paragraph or 2 on moving Sophie cloths out and another the forgotten bank account Sophie set up.

Very nice story. One thought, there are two romances here, Aaron and Sophie as well as Aaron and Evie. Aaron and Sophie deserve a story of their own, the story of the forever orphan and the new orphan getting together could be a really interesting story in its own right. I would end it before Sophie dies, it could be a prequel to this story.

Wow. Aaron and Sophie's story was depressing. Honestly that was the heart of this story. Evie just came off as a supporting character somehow. Not fair to her, just how it felt when reading.

Lovely! Used a lot of napkins reading it. A real fairy story with them getting the house and him being second in command, but what the heck if it is a fairy story anything can happen ;-)

I have loved all your stories, it is too bad that you stopped writing because I (and I belive a lot of others) would have loved more.

Good story, touch of darkness in it, but imho not too much, bad things happen to good people for no good reason whatsoever sometimes. If I’ve got a moan, it’d be the odd jump to him being in hospital, with no lead in, but tbh that worked out as well, it’d have worked better had he temporarily lost some memory, but I’m splitting hairs really.

Many thanks for writing and posting, cheers Ppfzz. 5⭐️

Really sweet story. Makes me think about kids in Foster Care getting kicked out at 18, no assets, no place to go. Sad situation.

Someone commented that Evie came across as only a supporting character. I’d call her the quiet hero.

Been suffering a bit of writer's block lately. I think I've overcome that, at least for the moment as I just submitted my third work in a little over a week. "Molly" was a story I'd been working on for over two years and the newest one "Irresistible Force" nearly as long. Sti...
