This was incredible; it's so sad and makes me hate nazis even more then I already do. I want to kill every single one of those nazi bastards.

Usually I can't stand time period writing because it's so overdone like beating a dead horse. However you made the history come alive because of your focus on this personal relationship that felt so sincere it brought tears to my eyes. It is very believable, keep on writing!!

Usually all i find to read is something lusty. This was loving and it made me happy as well as sad. I kept hoping as i read it that her lover would somehow return...but she didnt.

Sam, this is a very elegantly woven tale. The sultry atmosphere and pace of it reminded me of the works of Anaïs Nin, and I'm grateful for the experience of reading it. :O)

For me, emotion is what makes a good story; not the dry, repititive sex scenes. I love this story...so sad. It made me cry.

It's starting to come...small personal indications... I see the pain and the beauty of living. Beginning to see it through your eyes... I can sense acceptance now, when I couldn't before...whole acceptance is key to many things, in this new perspective.

A story of heartbreaking loss, yes, but there was such love, as well. Brava!

I thought the emotions of love lost were incredibly accurate and moving. The moments of discovery were poignant and honest. My favorite part was about the combs, though. Very nice piece all around.

Well...if I wasn't already awake this morning, this certainly did the trick. Drew me in by the end of the first few paragraphs, and had me the rest of the way hoping that, just maybe, she had managed to make her way through the camps...but I suspected she hadn't.
