All Comments on 'Family Gatherings Pt. 11'

A little too much sex and not enough plot development. I know! An odd complaint, but if you are going to run a series then you need to keep our attention - we are investing in your characters and if all we get is one body running into another body ad nausiam we have no real incentive to stay - we can get that elsewhere. Each episode must contain a significant plot development to keep our attention on your story. You can argue the Katie-Steve development is one such, but you have relegated it to a minor meh! so when it develops/fails all we will give it is a minor meh! Also the Josh/Beth/Denise plot has hardly developed over the last several episodes other than odd bits of 'well we had sleightly better sex' rather than, as the earlier plotting promised, some development leading to the three of them actually working out what their future will be: it is how all these new relationships will work out when everyone goes home that keeps me reading. Will Denise go home with Josh and Beth? Right now, if she does it will be a shock as there has been no evidence the emotional integration of the three of them other than a little bit extra fucking. If Katie and Steve get together, we will want to know why, and enjoy together, their burgeoning relationship, not just, 'well we had a good time behind closed doors'.

Sorry, didn't mean to rant on so much, but just want your story to be successful.
