I’m surprised there are no comments as yet! I enjoyed the story, a good interesting plot with a twist and thought it had the potential to be longer. I like your characters and would be interested in reading more about them!

...wouldn't it have occurred to the cops to fingerprint the dropped knife? If there were strange prints on it, this would have supported Max's story (and given the slimeball's behaviour, he would probably have been known to the police). It's the little points that can often make a story.

Here you created a story with some conflict but ended it unresolved. What happens to Trey and greasy blonde guy. Does Max get sent to jail.......

That said, thanks for writing and sharing. It has a good basis for a story and is decently written.
