Yep, it's a nice change to see the bad (and stupid) guys get theirs once in a while. I usually consider the "blackmail" stories to be more like comedies than real possibilities. This is why. One quick phone call, and the woman would have all the backup she needs. Even the dullest knives in the drawer would know enough to call the cops.

It's so wonderful when the scum in life find out they aren't top of the food chain but kind of a sub-chain way in the basement. Great story.

The best part was the fact that the three mouse-keteers had no real understanding of how they could be stung as they were. You crafted a wonderful story Patricia, and I loved every bit of it. Well done. Very, well done.
