I liked the humanness of your characters; but that much hypnotism is dangerous. It messes with the mind and it interprets words and events differently. power can corrupt and absolute power can corrupt absolutely.

She is human, so she will be subject to human emotions: jealousy, fear, anger and these negative emotions allow us to do monstrous acts that we would normally condemn-Murder/suicide. Spousal abuse. Mutilation.

So how long before she takes her boyfriend and mold him into her toy and in doing so, covers up the part of him that attracted her in the first place?

There is a difference between love that is freely given and love that is programmed.
